HISTORY

about usMecanica Gomez S.A. de C.V., is a 100% Mexican company located in the city of San Luis Potosí, beginning our ope-rations in the year of 1993 as a bonded assembly plant of stamping parts.

Later thanks to the quality of the products and service Me-canica Gomez evolved of being an assembly plant to which it offers products of an integral way, increasing substantia-lly the number of produced parts.

In the year of 1999 the process of bending and forming of tube was integrated. With this kind of products we had greater presence in foreign markets, reaching a high growth in our company.

Today the 80% of our production is for export to United States of America and Canada. Our products are mainly for appliances and automotive markets.

STAMPING

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY

TUBE BENDING AND FORMING

Mecanica Gomez has 8000 square meters of surface for the production made inside the company.

Our stamping products are made in presses that go from 16 to 300 tons. The presses of 100 to 300 tons are equip-ped to run progressive dies in speeds of up to 50 strokes per minute.

We make assemblies with systems of riveting, resistance welding and Tog-L-Lock.

We bend round tubes, oval tubes and diverse radius. This process is made in hydraulic tube bending machines with capacity up to 2” of diameter.
