and ends at the Historic Manitou Springs Depot. You can shop for souvenirs and oxygen in the Steamer Stop Shop. The Cog Wheel Market offers breakfast, lunch and light dinner fare, which can be enjoyed leisurely on the patio or taken aboard the train. Please note that no outside food or beverages are permitted on the railway.

From Colorado Springs, take exit #141 (US 24) off I-25, go west (toward mountains) on US 24 four miles to Manitou Avenue (Manitou Springs) exit. Go west on Manitou Avenue for 1.5 miles to Ruxton Ave. Turn left at the roundabout and go to top of Ruxton Ave., ¾ of a mile.

You will be traveling up to an elevation of 14,115 ft. Some people may experience altitude sickness, which may include symptoms of dizziness, nausea and headaches. In addition, if you are pregnant or have cardiac or respiratory problems, it is advised that you consult with your physician before making the ascent.

Delays: Although trains normally run on schedule, delays can occur. The Pikes Peak Railway will not be held liable for delays due to weather, track or mechanical, or any other reason.

Seating: Seats are assigned by computer. Therefore, we are unable to assign particular seats. You will be seated as close together as possible, or you will be told otherwise.
