The project presented here involves most high thechnologies . Indeed the idea is to avoid the tact sense needed in such ordinary actions, to preserve pesonal hygie-ne and cleanliness. Cleaning devices such as sink, handryer will be activated by photocells rather then mechanical gadgets. Hence, the project will have a small solar panel installed on the roof of the box to provide necessary amount of energy to activate the devices. The water required will be collected from rainwater. The rainwater container, as well, will be installed on the top of the box. The project wants to be placed into public space, for this reason we belive impor-tant to assign an “urban skin” which will make the object easily recognizable to those who will eventually use it. The corners of the Hussi will be illuminated by led, in red or green colors to tell if the public toilet is occupied or not.

The project offers also an extra architectural plan, which rapresents an other tipe of shape with rounded sliding door. The toilet area si reduced to the minimum amount not to take lot of space from the public ground. Renders show in a very conceptual way what “Huussi” would have: 1: small solar panel which provides electrical power2: rainwater container, to provide water. Used water will be collected in a big cointainer placed on the bottom of the structure,mixed with human waste. The same principle used on caravans, will be adopted to empty the container.. 3: pipe with electrical wires running inside to activate the handrier and photocells.4: tube with running water .5: leds placed on the external sides to indicate the status of the public toilet. The ideas reported here need to be developed to better merge functions and forms.
