President's messageJordan Engineers Association (JEA) was established in 1953 as “engineers’ society” to organize the services of few hundreds of engineers. Today, Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) is proud to have more than 125,000 members from all engineering sectors operating in different regions with a varied wide globally experience.
We are now leaders in the development of engineering practice, services and granting the membership privileges such as retirement benefits, health care, employment assistant and many other professional benefits to support the social security of its members.Serving and supporting its members, meet their needs and maintain their accreditation and code of ethics is the main goal for the JEA, all the activities of JEA is supporting this goal. The JEA is a great advocate to the sustainable development in Jordan and the Arabic region at all aspects, established the Engineers Training Center (ETC) on 1997 to provide educational and training programs, exchange the knowledge in various engineering topics, and qualify Jordanian engineers to lead the development process in Jordan and the Arabic region, the ETC has accreditation from the major international professional organizations including FIDIC, several new Engineering programs has been adopted in Jordan such as Building Information Modeling BIM, LEED Green building and working on adopting The AIA Contracts scheme. In addition to our professional responsibilities, our social responsibilities requires coordination and collaboration with all Government and non-government organization, including the private sector, providing the knowledge and technical support to the National Industry and Academia, our social responsibility also establish for our relationship with the international organization to support the sustainable development in Jordan. All JEA employees and branches around the world are doing their best to bring happiness, safety, and peace of mind to our 125,000 members and communities. As we work to achieve these goals, I would very much appreciate our partners efforts in supporting us to maintain the progress and development of engineering and consultancy sectors to meet the international standards and best engineering practice.
