WHY WAS JONAH WRONG?
• Insisted on mercy for him, justice for others
Hypocrisy – we all deserve punishment!
• Loved that which had little valueFoolishness – it’s a little plant, Jonah!!
• Loved his comfort more than other’ lives
Selfishness – you care only for yourself!

• Do you desire mercy for everyone?Flagrantly immoral, murderers, terroristsThose who’ve hurt or abused you
