A HIGHLY PORTABLE ELECTRONIC WARFARE THREAT SIMULATOR.The Joint Deployable Electronic Warfare Range (JDEWR) is
a self-contained, high-mobility, full-effective radiated power
(ERP) radio frequency (RF) threat emitter range system.
JDEWR was designed as a “range-less” threat simulator
that can be transported anywhere in the world where the
warfighter needs electronic warfare training.
The portable range consists of a single command, control
and communication (C3) vehicle; a portable communication
network; and various trailer-mounted UnManned Threat
Emulators (UMTE).
Customers may select any number of UMTE threats and
specific threat types that meet specific training requirements.
Each C3 vehicle can control multiple UMTEs simultaneously,
and any number of UMTEs can be networked together to
provide a robust training environment.
