PUBLIC ART PROJECTS (INTERNATIONAL) 2008 Objetivos Moviles/Moving Targets exhibited on the Metrovias train system in Buenos

Aires, Argentina On Friday February 29, 2008. The print action took place between the station Federico Lacroze and Station F. Moreno of the railroad Gral. Urquiza (stations that unite Proyecto’ace, International Center for Visual Arts in South America to the Centro de Producción y Edición Gráfica de Buenos Aires (Litho Workshop in Saénz Peña). Co-organized by Alicia Candiani, Director of Proyecto Ace. The banners were exhibited at: Metrovias train system in Buenos Aires, Argentina. On Friday February 29, 2008. Proyecto’ace, International Center for Visual Arts in South America. March 5-21, 2008 Centro de Producción y Edición Gráfica de Buenos Aires. February 29, 2008 Gallery 5, Richmond, Virginia. 2008 No Danger: An International Exhibition of printed airplanes for the Southern Graphics Council Conference Command Print at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. The airplane print will be exhibited at the Richmond Airport as an initial exposure to the SGC Conference as a way to heighten public awareness of print media. “No Danger” will emphasize the positive aspect of cultural interchange, relationships, and travel instead of the negative connotations we now associate with flying objects in this era of constant violence and war. This show will travel to Graz, Austria in 2010. Curators: Ed Bernstein (University of Indiana) and Franco Vecchiet (Il Museo di Aerei di Carta).

2007 Forest Art Wisconsin: Native/Invasive a series of 21 public signs titled "Inherited Pedigree" installed on the Raven Trail in the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest, Minocqua, Wisconsin.

2005 Cultural Transport/Moving Targets a print exhibition of invited international artists presented at the Universität der Künste Berlin, Academy of Fine Art, Poznan and on the train from Berlin, Germany to Poznan, Poland as part of the IMPACT 4 – KONTAKT International Print Conference. Curated and Organized by John Hitchcock and Keith Christensen. The project addresses issues of public transportation, crossing borders, and national identity.

2005 IMPACT 4 Offset Poster Project: KONTAKT A select number of artists associated with the IMPACT 4 International Printmaking Conference were invited to produce black/white offset posters on the theme of “Kontakt” using the offset press at the Academy of Fine Art in Poznan, Poland. Fifty of the posters from each edition were posted in Berlin and Poznan during the conference. Participating artists include Keith Christensen, David Ferry, John Hitchcock, Anita Jung, Beauvais Lyons, Barbara Madsen, and Paul Thirkell.
