JOB DESCRIPTION - Receptionist, St Albans

Reporting to: Chief Operating OfficerResponsible for: Reception and Administrative DutiesDuration: 12 month contract from start of employment Hours: 12 hours per week, (Thursdays–6 hrs, Fridays–6 hrs)Salary: £15,873 pa pro rata (£8.25/hr, £5148 pa for 12 hrs/week)Location: The jobholder will be based in the St Albans office, with

some occasional travel to the other offices (Hertford, Stevenage and Welwyn Garden City) for training and team days

Purpose of the PostWe are looking for a caring, enthusiastic individual to welcome service users to our centre in St Albans and to carry out reception and administrative duties. The jobholder will work with other staff to exchange information relating to projects, contracts and funding opportunities and other information, as appropriate as well as answering the telephone, taking messages and managing the diary.

Principal Responsibilities To support the Project Officers. To undertake reception and administrative duties. To attend training as agreed with the Chief Operations Officer. To update promotional material and resources. To be aware of the boundaries and policies and procedures of MiMH. To ensure that all duties are carried out to the highest standard and in

accordance with MiMH's quality standards. To carry out all duties with due regard to MMH's policies and procedures,

including the equalities requirements. To undertake other duties as may be reasonably determined by the Senior

Operations Manager and CEO.

Benefits

All full-time employees have an entitlement of 25 days paid holiday per year (April 1st - March 31st). Statutory bank and public holidays are in addition to standard holiday entitlement. Part-time employees' holiday’s entitlement is pro-rata. There is a contributory pension scheme.
