Syllabus (P.G.)
The Post Graduate Course in Political Science shall consist of 16 papers in all spread over
Four Semesters. Out of these, the written examination will be conducted in 15 papers. Each
paper is carrying 100 marks. In the Fourth Semester, there will be a Viva-Voce of 100 marks.
All the papers will be compulsory in First and second Semester. In the third semester, paper
IX and X are compulsory. There are Four Optional each in paper XI and XII of the third
Semester. Out of these, the student has to opt one paper each from both the groups.
Similarly, in the fourth semester, paper XIII and XIV are compulsory. The one Four optional
in paper XV. Out of these, the student has to opt One paper. In the fourth Semester, there
shall be a Viva-Voice of 100 Marks.
