RUSSIAN, KAZAKH AND C.I.S. CERTI-FICATION

The Certificate of the Customs Union (CU certification) is necessarily required for entry into the market of the Customs Union by the customs of each Member State. The aim was to ap-peal technical obstacles, such as the compulsory certification trade between three countries and to reduce the number of mandatory technical procedures for the importation of goods into and export of goods from the territory of the Customs Union.

TR CU Certificate and Declaration (Technical Regulation conformity Certificate)Since 25 September 2010 new regulations came into force on certification equipment, produc-tion lines of various kinds, plants of various kinds. From 25 September for these types of prod-uct should not be issued more GOST-R, but a new certificate called “Certificate TR CU(Technical Regulation Conformity Certificate TRCU”) certificate of approval from the technical require-ments.

Type of Certificate

• Voluntary CertificateFor products not subjected mandatory certification according to the Russian law, volun-tary certification scheme may be applied. Exporters or importers initiate voluntary cer-tification with the aim to formally prove the conformity of their products to the applica-ble Russian standards, technical norms or recipes. In other words, GOST Certificate of Conformity is a powerful marketing too to capture Russian customer.

• Single shipment Certificates GOST-R That kind of certificate is a good solution for companies which export their products only occasionally. The single shipment certificate is valid for one delivery but there is also possibility to use that document for few deliveries. In a content of certificate is in-scribed the quantity of exporting products which can be divided into few deliveries.

• Pattern approval certificateThis is an official document certifying that the measurement device( the formula) satis-fies the requirements of standards and is approved for use in the Russian Federation. The certificate should contain the registration number of the instrument. The certificate is issued with the Annex, which should indicate the area of application, technical and metrological significant margins of uncertainty, the calibration interval and the mane of the normative document on which the research was conducted.When operating in Russia, you need to ensure that your measuring instruments comply with the required regulations.Our pattern approval certificate services can help you to achieve the pattern approval certificate for measuring instruments.

• Exemption LetterThere are two kinds of Exemption Letters: (1) Refusal Explanation Letters- the main aim of that document it to prove customs that product doesn’t need obligatory certificate (2) Information Letters( References)- it proves receivers intermediary companies that your product do not need the GOST certificate. The procedure of issuing an Ex-emption Letter usually takes about 5-7working days.
