Making your mark - Digital Signatures

Making your mark - Digital Signatures
• The Work Based Learning Programme in Wales is partly funded by the European Union;
• All auditable documents require a ‘wet signature’ and electronic signatures are not accepted;
• As a consequence the entire administrative system is paper based resulting in cumbersome and time consuming management processes;
• The aim of the SWANI Project was to digitise the administrative system and to make progress towards the acceptance of digital signatures as part of that;
• The PotsPan project is piloting the system.
JISC Innovative e-Learning Online Conference 2012
• Pilot of the digitised system across the region 2012/2013;
• Optimisation of administrative and management workflows;
• Trial and evaluation of both digital pen and digital signature systems;
• Contribution to the EU process for the development and acceptance of an electronic signature system for programme audit;
• Implementation of a time-efficient and cost-effective digitised WBL administrative system for Wales.
