JACKBILT Industries, Inc.Corporate Profile
Jackbilt Industries Inc. (JII) is the local pioneer in the
manufacture of load bearing modular
concrete blocks. Established in 1948 using Besser Vibrapac Block
Machines from USA, the
companys first major project was the construction of the
facilities of Clark Air Base in
Pampanga, many of which still stand up to today. The company
also figured prominently in the
countrys reconstruction projects after the Second World War.
In 1967, JII introduced concrete T-joist into the country, this
time utilizing German technology
and machineries. The precast, pre-stressed floor slab system did
away with concrete forms and
support thereby reducing cost and shortening construction time,
and is now the preferred
material of many developers. In 2012, did another first with the
establishment of an Elematic
concrete slab manufacturing plant from Finland, producing Ribbed
Slabs and Hollow Core Slabs
intended for the commercial building market
JIIs manufacturing facilities consist of two Besser Vibrapac
Block Machines with a combinedcapacity of 2,500 cmu per hour and an
Elematic concrete slab factory equipped with a Slip
Former for T-joists and Ribbed Slab and an Extruder for Hollow
Core Slabs, with a capacity of
3,500 lineal meters of T-Joists or 500 square meters of Ribbed
Slabs/Hollow Core Slabs per day.
The company has its own testing laboratory capable of doing all
the prerequisite raw material
and product quality tests prescribed by ASTM standards.
