Jewelry Box

Introduction

• The purpose of this project was to create a jewelry box.

• We had to use a 3 by 2 by.75 piece of wax block.

• To create the jewelry box we use the CNC machine.

• We also used different kind software like Edgecam, Inventor, CNCBase.

Goals

• The main goal was to create a jewelry box.

• We also had to combine all of the skills that we learned so far in the PLTW program. (Using CNC machine, Inventor, and CNC Base.)

• Also we had to learn new skills like Edge Cam and things like the bansaw.

Conclusion

• In conclusion this was the best project I every did.

• I learned how to use EdgeCam and learned to use the CNC machine even better.

• This project helped me expand my knowledge on all of the skills that I learned so far in PLTW.

• This project brought out the creative side of me but I could of done a better job with time management.

• If I had to do this project over again I would spend more time on it.
