TriCounty Technical College Summer IT Expo Camp 2017 The Computer and Information Technology Department at Tri-County Technical College would like to invite students to attend our Summer (day) IT Expo Camp 2017 during the week of July 17-20. TLH Lacrosse Coaches Recruiting Middle School Students Coaches from the TL Hanna girls’ lacrosse teams will be available in the lunchroom on Wednesday, May 31, during all three lunches. They will have information about lacrosse for anyone who might be interested in playing next
year or any time in the future. TL Hanna is planning to offer JV teams starting next year as well as varsity teams for both the boys and girls. Be sure to stop by and learn more about the fastest game on two feet!
TLH Cross Country Any student who is interested in running Cross Country for T. L. Hanna should see Mr. Jackson in Room 409.
Book Drive Teachers love to add books to their classroom libraries! If you have any gently used books appropriate for middle schoolers that you no longer need, please consider donating them to McCants!
Student Council Fundraiser – Donut Days! Student Council’s last “Donut Day” will be on Wednesday, May 31. Donuts are $1 each.
TLH Volleyball Camps The T. L. Hanna Volleyball Camp will be June 12 – 14 from 9:00 am to 12 noon for rising 2nd – 8th graders. The cost is $70. It will be in the T. L. Hanna gym. Enrollment forms are on the McCants website.
Lunchroom and Technology Damage Fees Thank you to all who have cleared these fees! If you have not, please contact us if you need a payment plan or have other extenuating circumstances. Our school runs on a very tight budget, and the loss of these funds can greatly impact our ability to buy what we need!
Early Dismissal Days Monday, June 5:
Elementary & Early Childhood dismisses at 11:00 am Middle dismisses at 11:45 am High schools dismiss at 11:45 am
Tuesday, June 6: Elementary & Early Childhood dismisses at 11:00 am Middle dismisses at 11:45 am
High schools have an exam make-up day (no transportation services for high school make-up exams) School breakfast will be provided on these days.
Chromebook Collection Chromebook collection begins Tuesday, May 30. Please make sure that students have their chargers to turn in as well. We will not take up bags this year. Please let your children know that they must bring their bags back to school in fall. If not, they will be required to buy a new bag. Students attending Hanna next year will also be required to bring their Chromebook bags with them. May 30 7th grade - 1st block (8:35 - 10:05) 6th grade - 3rd block (12:16-1:49) June 1 8th grade - 1st block (8:35 - 10:05).
