“  Falling    in    Love  with    Where  You  Are  “  Letting  Go  of  the  Dream  of  Perfection  and  Resting  in  Presence

Dialogue  with  Jeff  Foster  (    Berriz  24-‐25-‐26  October  2014)

This   retreat   with   UK   author/teacher   Jeff   Foster   is   an   invitation   to   rest   from   the  exhaustion  of  daily  life,  to  slow  down,  reconnect  with  your  body,  and  experience  what  is  truly   present.   It’s   a   chance   to   dive   deeply   into   Jeff’s   healing   message   of   deep  acceptance   and   fearless   living,   supported   by   peaceful   natural   surroundings,   in   a   safe  and   nurturing   environment   with   like-‐minded   friends.   Through   talks,   guided  meditations,   intimate   dialogues,   laughter,   tears,   and   silence,   Jeff  will   invite   us   in   his  own  unique  way  to  take  a  fresh  look  at  our  present  experience  and  discover  the  ocean  of  who  we  really  are:  an  open  and  loving  awareness  that  has  already  allowed  every  wave  of  thought  and  emotion  to  arrive.      We   try   so  hard   to   control  and  understand   life,   to   fit   in,   to   succeed,   to  be  good,   to   be  ‘spiritual’,   to   reach   our   goals.  We   try   so   hard   to   be   perfect,   to   be   happy,   even   to   be  enlightened  or  awakened,  and  often  we  can  feel  so   far  away  from  where  we  think  we  ‘should’   be,   so   far   from   Home.   We   may   end   up   exhausted,   fed   up,   disillusioned   or  depressed.  We  may  feel  like  a  failed  ‘self’,  so  far  from  home,  sick  of  life  and  even  sick  of  spirituality.  We  may  long  to  rest  deeply,  but  not  know  how…      Candid,  thoughtful,  humorous  -‐  and  deeply  compassionate  toward  those  searching  for  a  way  out  of  suffering  -‐  Jeff  inspires  us  to  stop  trying  to  'do'  acceptance  and  start  falling  in   love   with   'what   has   already   been   allowed,   falling   into   the   mystery   and   the  sacredness  of  the  present  moment.  His  simple,  accessible  and  direct  teachings  point  us  back  to  who  we  really  are  in  this  moment  -‐  already  perfect,  whole  and  free,  and  worthy  of  great  love.      Silence,  laughter,  lightness  and  a  sense  of  real  intimacy,  honesty  and  friendship  are  the  hallmarks   of   encounters   with   Jeff.   His   meetings   are   very   spontaneous   and   informal,  and  there  are  plenty  of  opportunities  to  share  and  ask  questions,  if  you  are  so  moved.      We  look  forward  to  seeing  you  there!

Dialogue  with  Jeff  Foster  (    Berriz  24-‐25-‐26  October  2014)

ABOUT  JEFF  FOSTER    Jeff  Foster  studied  Astrophysics  at  Cambridge  University.  In  his  mid-‐twenties,  after  a  long  period  of  depression  and  illness,  he  became  addicted  to  the  idea  of  'spiritual  enlightenment'  and  embarked  on  an  intensive  spiritual  quest  for  the  ultimate  truth  of  existence.    The  spiritual  search  came  crashing  down  with  the  clear  recognition  of  the  non-‐dual  nature  of  everything,  and  the  discovery  of  the  extraordinary  in  the  ordinary.  In  the  clarity  of  this  seeing,  life  became  what  it  always  was:  intimate,  open,  loving  and  spontaneous,  and  Jeff  was  left  with  a  deep  understanding  of  the  root  illusion  behind  all  human  suffering,  and  a  love  of  the  present  moment.    Jeff  was  voted  #59  on  Watkins  Review's  2014  list  of  the  world's  100  Most  Spiritually  Influential  Living  People.  Jeff  has  published  five  books  in  over  six  languages.  His  latest  book  Falling  in  Love  With  Where  You  Are  is  now  available  from  Non-‐Duality  Press.        FRIDAY  24    18.00  h  –  18.45  h    Reception  SUNDAY  26  17.15  h.  Last  Dialogue
