Jeb K. Rand has been involved in figure skating for over 30 years. During this time he achieved exceptional successes as a skating producer/director and professional performer.

Jeb and his long time skating partner and wife, Jennifer, were nationally ranked pairs figure skaters for the United States (1986-1989). As professionals their career spanned over 15 years with principal roles in the Ice Capades, Disney on Ice and Stars on Ice (European Tour). From 1998 – 2005 Jeb & Jennifer were the lead ice skaters at Radio City Music Hall (in New York City) in The Christmas Spectacular starring the world famous Rockettes.

Since 1998 Jeb has created, produced and\or directed dozens of ice shows around the world including star-studded television specials such as Christmas on Ice in Torino, Italy starring Andrea Bocelli and Olympic Champion, Evgeny Plushenko, The Opening of the Rink at Rockefeller Center, and The Golden Skate Awards which annually honors the top ranked figure skaters around the world. Additionally Jeb has produced ice skating shows or scenes for ABC’s Extreme Makeover and Masters of Champions, Fox’s Louis Guzman Show, MTV’s Music Awards as well as numerous cable and regional television specials. Live show productions include Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede (Branson, Myrtle Beach, Pigeon Forge and Orlando), Bright Lights on Ice and Ice Carnivale in Las Vegas, Figure Skating’s Best in Italy, Ice Mystique, Spellbound on Ice, and The Ice Spectacular at Ocean Park, Hong Kong, as well as corporate events for Monte Blanc, Georgia Pacific, Walmart and Bristol-Myers-Squibb.

- Choreographer & Performer for some of England’s leading TV Shows

Ryan, from Birmingham, England, has been seen by millions of people around the world ‘beat-boxing’, street dancing, performing ice acrobatics, and creating sound effects and comedy routines on renowned shows such as X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent!, where he was a finalist.

A few highlights of his career are: Ice Spectacular (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - 2013); Olympic Tribute Celebration on Ice (London - 2012), Apollo Theatre Performs! (London - 2011), Guinness World Records Smashed (London -2009); Blue Peter BBC (Great Britain TV show - 2008), Al Shalha Theme Park (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia 2008), Britain’s Got Talent (Great Britain TV show – 2007); The Hipadrome – Birmingham (live show 2007); and Dubai Madinate (theatre show- England 2005)

Ice Fantasy - Where Cirque Meets Ice is Ryan’s first professional show in the USA. He exclaimed, “I am past excited to be performing in America and I can’t wait to get started! It’s a dream come true for this Englishman!”

Melody Le Moal

Aerial & Fire Featured Specialty Act

Melody, from France, started skating when she was 8 years old. Ice dancing is her specialty, but having studied circus, belly dance and Tai boxing, Melody built a successful professional skating career as stunt specialty act with world renowned shows such as Holiday on Ice. From 2006-2013, Melody performed in dozens of countries around the globe as one of Holiday’s lead performers (in Speed, Energia, Lebenon and Romanza.) Her television credits are also extensive across Western Europe including Le Grand Cabaret and Sterren Dansen Op Et Ijs in France.

Melody’s passion, energy, and often unique choreography, enable her to captivate audiences of all ages. She exclaimed, “I am truly looking forward to working for the second time in the USA and being part of this new and exciting production, ICE FANTASY! I love to meet new people and investigate new cultures.”

Irina Usenko

Hula Hoop & Acrobat Featured Specialty Act

Irina is from Ukraine. She was a ‘Master of Sport’ in Ukrainian gymnastics (1989 - 1998). She also holds a degree in Culture & Arts as well as is the resident director of a theater production company. After retiring from competitive gymnastics in 1999, Irina began skating and training in a local circus school. In only a few short months she was the runner up in the Ukraine International Circus Festivals (2000).

In 2001 she began skating professionally in Moscow Circus on Ice. She continued with this show for 5 years and developed new acts along the way that combined her gymnastics, circus, skating and theatrical talents. From 2006-2011 Irina toured the world performing for various production companies and television networks (eg: Hungary, Belarus, Romania, Estonia, Turkey, Azerbagan, Arabic Emirates, Ecuador, Peru, Salvador, Costa Rica , Bolivia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and across Russia & Ukraine). In late 2011 Irina signed a 2 year contract with Royal Caribbean International to perform her unique acts on board Voyager of the Seas in 2012 and Freedom of the Seas in 2013.

Irina is thrilled to be making her US debut in Ice Fantasy – Where Cirque Meets Ice, and she says she looks forward to experiencing everything the United States has to offer while entertaining.

Ricardo Sosa Strength & Contortion Specialty Act

Ricardo Sosa was born in Havana, Cuba and. began studying ballet when he was six years old. At seventeen, he enrolled in the Yuri Mandich Circus School in Havana, the national, Russian-style state circus school. There, he trained for four years to be a professional circus performer. He graduated in 1986 with a remarkable hand- balancing and contortion act. Three years into his career, Ricardo returned to his alma mater and became a circus teacher. He proved to be an unusually effective instructor as his students began winning national circus competitions. While teaching, Ricardo continued to perform, appearing at the Tropicana in Havana and touring with Cuban circus companies throughout South America.

In 1994, while performing in Colombia at Circo Egred Hermanos, Ricardo and other performers in the Cuban troupe defected. It was a huge scandal in Havana: never before had such an important group of performers defected. For Ricardo, it was the beginning of a life and new career! From 1994 - 1998 he toured South and Central America with Circo Suarez and performed in Mexico City with Circo Union. There, he was spotted by a casting agent for Carson & Barnes Circus and was offered his first U.S. circus contract in 1999. Ricardo has since settled in the United States, where he has worked extensively in casinos and circuses around the country. Highlights include Circus Circus and the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas; Teatro ZinZanni in Seattle, Washington and San Francisco California; Universoul Circus (National Tour); and Circus Sarasota. He has also been seen on several international variety television shows in Italy, Germany, and most notably with GOP Varieté and Palazzo (throughout western Europe).

Sergey Parshin, Russian born, began training at 6 years old. He achieved ‘Master of Sports’ status in acrobatics & gymnastics in his home country. He competed nationally and internationally in both areas, receiving medals in many competitions around the world. In 1995, Sergey was invited to perform with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus -American tour division.

Alexander Tolstikov, also from Russia and achieving ‘Master of Sports’ status, is a specialists in group and pair acrobatics. Alexander graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Physical Culture in 1996. In 1997 he was invited to work in America with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, where he began to perform with Sergey.

Sergey and Alexander have been performing together for over a decade, and been seen in everything from Ringling Brothers Circuses, to Broadway shows (Jungle Fantasy - 2008), to world tours and festivals (Russia, South Africa, USA, New Zealand, Australia, France, Italy, England, Germany, Canada, Hawaii, Japan, India, Hong Kong and South America).

Most recently Alexander and Sergey have added Alexander’s wife, Nataliya, to the act. Natalia was born in Yalta, Russia and began training in the circus at the young age of 8! She is a graduate of the Moscow School of Circus and Variety Arts Academy. In her early professional years she performed throughout Russia and was named “The Princess of Russian Circus” by the well-known Moscow Circus. Additional credits include The Grand Circus in Turkey, National Circuses in Kazakhstan, Belorussia, The Moscow & St. Petersburg Circuses on famed Tsvetnoi & Fontanka Boulevard (respectively), Jungle Fantasy (on Broadway), La Masque, The Big Apple Circus, South Africa’s Madam Zingara’s Circus Theater, The Cyprus Variety Show TV specials, Patrick Sebastian’s TV show La Grande Cabaret.

The Cartoon Poodles

The Cartoon Poodles are a creation of the Abuhadba Family. Rafael and his family from Chile, South America are 6th generation circus performers and animal trainers specializing in the poodle breed. The Cartoon Poodles have performed with Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus, headlined with the Flintstones Live Show, Le Dream Palace, Cirque Banquisté, Mongolian Fantasy Circus, just to name a few. They have also been seen in national TV commercials, such as Pizza Hut, in the past.

The poodles are more than a family tradition for the Abuhadba’s; they are like their children. More than a dozen poodles share luxury living quarters with the Abuhadba’s and have their personal mobile outdoor exercise yard as well. The poodle education is simple. It requires lots of love, motivation, and treats. Additionally, these happy, talented canines amuse hundreds of spectators everyday with their energy and spark. Since his departure from his native land of Chile in 1985, Rafael has performed in front of millions of people in the Caribbean, South, Central, and North Americas. Their famous and colorful poodles fly in the air, dance with glamorous night costumes, perform conga lines, high dive through hoops, perform comical boxing match, and much more to delight audiences of all ages!

Emi Chihara & Karel SteflPrincipal Adagio Team

Karel, from Czech Republic, and Emi, from Japan, were both individually strong single skaters in their respective countries,and each competed nationally & internationally for over a decade. During the course of their amateur careers both Karel and Emi also trained in the discipline of pair skating. They met on board Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas when each were featured solo skaters in Ice Dancin’. In 2009 they decided to try to skate together when a pair role became available in the show, and from the first day the stepped on the ice together they knew they had something special! They were offered the pair contract within a week and they have been traveling the world together as a pair team ever

since. Emi & Karel continued with Royal Caribbean through 2011, starring in Cool Art & Hot Ice, and then toured with Disney on Ice for 2 years throughout Europe and South America (in Mulan and Aladdin). In 2013 Karel & Emi were featured in Germany’s largest Theme Park, Phantasialand, in Relight My Fire.

Karel & Emi are a couple off the ice as well as on the ice, and they were recently married (August 2013) in Czech Republic. ICE FANTASY is their first role together as husband and wife.

Hynek HolecekComedy & Stilt Skater

Hynek was born in Mlada Boleslav, Czech Republic where began to skate at 4 years old. He competed for many years throughout Europe, but always felt more comfortable making people laugh vs. training long hours and coping with the stress of competition. In 2004 Hynek was given the opportunity he was waiting for when the World International Skating Championships was organized and held in the Czech Republic, and he was asked to skate as a lead comedy mascot. Since then Hynek has been busy spanning the globe performing comedy and his acrobatic ‘stilt skating’ for leading production companies. The short list includes: Mrazik on Ice – Fairy Musical on Ice, 2004; Hollywood – Holiday on Ice, 2005; European Champions – Saudi Arabia, 2006; Spellbound on Ice – Ocean Park Hong Kong, 2006\07, Ice Spectacular – Ocean Park Hong Kong, 2007\08, Ice Odyssey – Ocean Park Hong Kong, 2008\09, Spellbound on Ice 2 – Ocean Park Hong Kong 2009\10, Circus on Ice – Paris 2010, Winter Feelings on Ice – Phantasialand, Germany, 2011\12, Extravaganza on Ice – Great Britain, 2012

Hynek has skated for Rand Productions on 6 occasions in the past, but never in the USA. Hynek remarked, “I am extremely excited about my first professional show in America, and I cannot wait for the amazing experience!”

Karel Nekola Company Manager

Karel was born in the Czech Republic and began skating at the age of 7. He won both the junior and senior men’s national titles for his home country, and he went on to compete at both the European and World Championships. In 2001 he turned professional and since then he performed for leading production companies around the world, such as Holiday on Ice, Spotlight Production (Germany), Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (Worldwide) and Rand Enterprises & Productions (Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Japan, China and Biloxi, MS). Karel is thrilled to be joining the debut cast of Ice Fantasy - Where Cirque Meets Ice.

Michael Skulstad Michael, an indigenous Alaskan native of the Aleut tribe, began his skating journey at the young age of 12 years old where his successful amateur career lead him to the U.S. Jr. Nationals. His training included both World & Olympic Coaches, Utako Nagamitsu and Takeshi Honda as he trained along side Japan’s Daisuke Takahashi in Osaka, Japan. The cast of Disney’s High School Musical, the Ice Tour, Disneyland Adventure and Holiday on Ice highlight his professional career across North America, Asia & Europe. He has performed in shows with Johnny Weir in the Australian Harbor Town Christmas Show. Michael is very passionate about the art of skating and performance and hopes to continue sharing his love of performing to audiences across the world.

Gia Alteri Gia began her skating career at the age of 10 on synthetic ice in Florida. After falling in love with the sport she transferred to real ice and had a successful competitive run as a U.S. Figure Skating double gold medalist. She found that performing was her true love and turned professional in 2001. She has traveled the world doing shows. She began in America with Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede (Myrtle Beach), Busch Gardens (Tampa), Kings Island (Ohio), and Cypress Gardens (Florida) just to name a few. In 2008 Gia was in the inaugural cast of The Radio City Christmas Spectacular Arena Tour featuring the world famous Rockettes. She then moved on to do Festival On Ice in Mexico, several shows with Holiday On Ice in Europe and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

Rebecca Erb

Rebecca Erb received her Bachelor of Arts in Language Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008. She is a world traveler with an immense interest in languages and worldly cultures. She speaks Spanish, French, and German. She is also an accomplished professional figure skater of 14 years. Skating since the time she could walk, at the tender age of 2, she has been going full speed ever since. Climbing to the national ranks by 8 years old, the wonder continued competing at the national level for 6 more years. She began her professional career with The San Francisco Ice Dance Company in 1999 and continued with American Ice Theater from 2000-2005. Then she finished her degree in Santa Cruz (while taking a few years off) and resumed performing in 2008 at California’s Great America. Later that year she joined Holiday on Ice - touring throughout Europe for the next 5 years.

Samantha Delgado

Samantha was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She is a U.S. Figure Skating double gold medalist (Freestyle & Moves in the Field). She is also a five time Eastern Great Lakes Regional medalist. While performing in her home skating club’s ice show for ten years Samantha discovered that performing was her passion. She started her professional career with Disney on Ice, touring with them for 4 seasons. Since then she has performed around the world. She has also skated alongside Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek and Olympic silver medalists Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto in their holiday benefit show in Detroit, MI.

Jamie Winter

Jamie began her skating career at the age of 5 and trained in Squaw Valley, Reno, Sun Valley, Idaho and Delaware. Jamie is a U.S. Fig-ure Skating Gold Medalist in ice dancing. After competing as an amateur skater until the age of 18, Jamie turned professional and traveled the world skating for several leading production companies. Jamie went on to get her undergraduate degree in political science at Trinity College in Washington, D.C. and her law degree at the University of California, Davis School of Law. Jamie is a licensed attorney in Nevada and California and lives with her family in Reno where she is the Compliance Officer for Hometown Health. Jamie is thrilled to be performing for producer Jeb Rand who is her long-time friend and who Jamie performed with in her first professional show in Atami, Japan and many professional shows thereafter.

Michael Berg Michael’s skating career started in his home state of Utah. He quickly advanced through the ranks earning top placements at both regional and sectional competitions, which earned him a place on the US National Team. He initially began performing in local shows when he was very young, but Michael really ‘got the show bug’ when was honored to be invited to perform in the Opening & Closing Ceremonies at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. The excitement of performing live led him to turn professional and immediately he was cast in Cypress Garden’s Adventure On Ice. In the years to follow Michael had featured roles in Magic On Ice (Mexico), on board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s ice productions (Explorer of the Seas and Freedom of the Seas). Michael performed twice with Rand Productions’ Holiday Ice Spectacular (2009 & 2010), and most recently he has completed a European Tour with Disney On Ice .

Pasquale CamerlengoChoreographer

Pasquale Camerlengo was born in Milan, Italy and skated in the1992 & 1998 Olympics in Ice Dance where he placed as high as 5th. He won medals in numerous prestigious international competition. Pasquale retired from competitive ice dancing in 1999 and now works as one of the world’s leading choreographers (and his skater’s program list reads as a “Who’s Who” in figure skating). A short list of Olympic & World Champions he has choreographed include Evgeny Plushenko, Daisuke Takahashi and Shizuka Arakawa Tak. Pasquale is based at Detroit Skating Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and coaches alongside of his wife, Angelika Krylova-Two time World Champion and Olympic Silver medalists. His popularity and demand carries him around the globe several times each year!

Originally, Pasquale began coaching under the mentorship of Carlo Fassi in Milan, Italy. Fassi was an iconic coach who was best known for his work with Peggy Fleming, the 1968 Olympic champion, Dorothy Hamill, the 1976 Olympic gold medalist and John Curry, the 1976 British Olympic titlist.

In recent years Pasquale has become one of the most sought after choreographers in the sport today. His passion for the sport of figure skating is evident in every skater’s program that he has been proud to choreograph.

At the World Professional Skaters Conference in 2012 Pasquale was awarded “Choreographer of the Year”.

Steven Roels Lighting Design & Technical Director

Steven Roels, Lighting Designer & Technical Director, started out as a light technician/ cameraman in 2002 and worked his way up over the years to become a Lighting designer, Operator, Stage manager.He is experienced in ice productions around the world. In 2006 Steven was asked to work for Holiday on Ice on their various touring shows —Mystery, Bugs Bunny on Ice, Arabian Nights, and Energia. On the last production he met his girlfriend and now fiancée, Gia Alteri, who is also performing in Ice Fantasy.

For the last 5 years Steven has been splitting his time between Europe, the United States and the high seas. He worked for Royal Caribbean International on The Navigator of the Seas for 3 seasons where he was responsible for not only the Ice Show, Ice Dancing, but also for all other entertainment venues on board the mega-ship. In addition to touring ice shows, Steven has worked with dozens of theatrical productions, television specials, festivals and concerts around the world.

In 2012 Steven began working with Rand Productions, designing lighting & technical elements of The Holiday Ice Spectacular (playing at MGM’s Beau Rivage in Biloxi, MS). He is currently contracted to design 3 additional productions for Executive Producer, Jeb Rand, and Steven remarked, “I am truly excited about being part of a debut show like ICE FANTASY- Where Cirque Meets Ice!”

Costumes & Accessories

Cube Décor Workshop is a world renowned costume & mascot design, fabrication and manufacturing company based in Hong Kong. They have been creating award winning costumes, props, mascots and scenic wagons since 1995. Their client list reads like a “who’s who” in the first class theme park, circus/cirque and special attractions world(s), but due to privacy agreements with these well-known clients their lists cannot be disclosed in an open forum. However if anyone has been to a leading theme park in Asia, Europe or the USA and/or seen a well-known “circus-type” of production in Las Vegas, Macau, etc., you have seen Cube Décor’s work!

In 2005 Rand Productions introduced the world of figure skating to the Cube Décor Workshop and since then they have designed & built several full-scale ice productions (in Asia and the USA). Included are Spellbound on Ice, Ice Mystique, Ice Odyssey and The Holiday Ice Spectacular. They continue to work closely with Jeb Rand, the creative force behind Rand Productions, as their relationship enters its 9th year collaborating together. ICE FANTASY- Where Cirque Meets Ice will be a very exciting project to work on with Jeb”, said Cathy Chow, CEO of Cube Décor Workshop. “This one-of-a-kind production is going to WOW audiences of all ages and we will do our part to make the costumes part of the magic!”
