Develop a complete AP analysis environment from JD Edwards source data.
Halo BI provides nearly a dozen core dimensions within the Halo Account Payable analysis solution for JD Edwards. Each of the supplied dimensions can be completely customized with attributes and hierarchies built based on your requirements. The source for the dimension attributes are typically in the derived from category codes and other fields defined within the master files. The dimension attributes are defined and configured based on your requirements during the fine tuning stage of implementation, providing an analytics packaged tailored specifically for your business requirements.

Payment Terms
The dimension key is the Address Number from the Address Book, which joins to theSupplier number in the Accounts Payable Detail table. The dimension attributes areextracted from the category codes utilized in the Address Book, the geographic locationin the Address by Date Master, and the User Defined Control table.
The dimension key is the Business Unit code from the Business Unit Master, whichjoins to the Business Unit in the Sales Order tables. The dimension attributes areextracted from the category codes utilized in the Business Unit Master, CompanyMaster, and the User Defined Control table.
The dimension key is the Long Item Number from the Item Master, which joins tothe Long Item Number in the Production Cost tables The dimension attributes areextracted from the category codes utilized in the Item Master and the User DefinedControl table.
The dimension is the Payment Terms code from the Payment Terms table, whichjoins to the Payment Terms code in the Accounts Payable Detail table.
The dimension key is the Document Type key from the Order Types defined in theUser Defined Control table, which joins to the Document Type code in the AccountsPayable Detail table
Days To Pay
Days Open The Days Open dimension is based upon the Invoice and the Paid Date for paid invoicesand the Invoice Date and the current date for Open AP. A code is generatedbased upon the number of days it was open, which is entirely customizable for theclient. Example values are ‘0 Days Open, ‘1 – 10 Days Open’, ’11 – 30 Days Open’ etc.
The Days to Pay dimension is based upon the Due Date and the Paid Date for paidinvoices and the Due Date and the current date for Open AP. A code is generatedbased upon the number of days until it is due or was past due, which is entirely customiz-able for the client. Example values are ‘Not Due or Paid Early’, ‘ 1 – 10 Days Past Due’, ’11 – 30 Days Past Due’ etc.
Time
Time Due This dimension is tied to the due date, so it shows all AP that is due on a certaindate. Dimensional attributes include date, week, month, quarter and year.
The time dimension is tied to the current date, so that all open AP as of right nowwill be visible. Dimensional attributes include date, week, month, quarter and year.
Heirarchies such as Year > Quarter > Month > Week > Date are also provided

Cube Calculations
During the Fine Tuning and Custom Configuration stage, other business logic, dimensions and metrics may be added. These may or may not be included in a fixed scope implementation, depending upon the complexity of the business logic and/or the number of metrics added. Below are some example customizations:
Other cube calculations to support a variety of front end Analytical tools, such as Performance Point and SharePoint. These tools do not support inherently provide calculations such as Parallel Time metrics, Variance between Current Year and Prior Year, Variance % between Current Year and Prior Year, etc. With Halo BI’s Prism front end, these calculations are embedded within the tool and do not need to be stored within the cube. With the previously mentioned other front ends, this is not the case and the calculations must to be stored within the cube.
