ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR PGTS,TGTS ,PET,ART & LIBRARIAN

Age: As on 31.07.2017 up to 60 years.

For-PGT(ENGLISH)

Two year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc.Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned

subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

OR

Master s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the English.

1. B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized University

Desirable qualification

(a) Experience of working in a residential School.

TGT(ENGLISH)

(a) Four years Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education or NCERT with at least 50% marks in

the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate

OR

A Bachelor degree in relevant subject with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned

subject comprising the combination as under B.Ed.

1. Candidate should have studied the subject English as an elective subject.

2. Candidate must have studied the subject for all the three year in graduation.

3. Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in the subjects during all the

years of study.

4. Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also.

5. B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

TGT(Social Studies)

1. The Candidate should have studied any of the two subjects out of the following subject combination in

graduation.

A. History with Geography/Economics/Political Science OR

Geography with History/Economic/Political Science.

B. History/Geography as above, should have been studied for all three years in graduation.

C. In case Honours degree in History the candidate should have studied Geography/Economics/Political

Science in 1st

and 2nd

year. Similarly, in case of the Honours degree in Geography the candidate should

have studied History/Economics/Political Science in 1st

and 2nd

year. Candidate with BA(Hons.) in

Economics or Political Science are not eligible for the post of TGT(Social studies).

D. Candidate should h also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these subjects during all

the years of study.

E. Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also.

F. B.Ed or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.

ART TEACHER

Five year recognized Diploma in any discipline of fine arts as Drawing/Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts/Crafts after

passing secondary school Examination (Class X) or equivalent.

OR

Post Graduate Degree in Drawing and painting ,Fine Arts from a recognized University/Institution.

OR

Four years Diploma in Fine Arts/Crafts from Viswa Bharati Shanti Niketan

OR

B.Ed. Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts from Regional College of Education.

FOR PET (MALE & FEMALE)

Bachlor degree in Physical Education from a recognized Institution

OR

D.P.Ed awarded by a recognized University /Institution provided that the admission qualification for the diploma is

at least a University s Degree.

FOR LIBRARIAN

Univeristy s Degree in Library Science from a recognized Institution

OR

Graduation with one year Diploma in Library Science from a recognized institution.

Consolidated remuneration per month

PGT (English) : ` 27500/-p.m., TGT(English,Social Studies, PET(M & F),ART & Librarain- ` 26,250/- p.m

The contractual appointment will be initially for a period of 10 months or till 30.04.2018 or till regular

incumbent posted join duty against the vacancy, whichever is earlier. In addition to the remuneration, free

boarding and loading facilities as available in Vidyalaya will be provided. These teachers will have to work at par

with regular teachers.

Note:-

1. Candidates should report at the venue on the date given above between 09.00 AM to 01.30 PM along

with their original certificates as well as one set of self attested Photocopies of all the relevant

documents i.e Secondary,Senior Secondary, Degree,PG,CTET,B.Ed.,NET/P.hd.,/M.Phil & one recent

passport size photograph to be pasted on application form. The candidate will download the

application format from the website directly.

2. Experience certificate must indicate the clear period of working experience in government/added

residential school,Designation,Pay,Nature of appointment and duties etc., failing which the same will

not be accepted.

3. In absence of any document/mark sheets of any year as indicated in the detailed notification available

on the website of this Office, the candidate will not be allowed for interview.

4. No.TA/DA will be paid for attending Walk-In-Interview.

5. The cut-off date for determining various eligibility criteria i.e Educational Qualifications will be the

date on which the candidate is appearing for walk in interview for the post concerned.
