NOTICE FOR EMPANELMENT/ENGAGEMENT OF TEACHERS ON CONTRACT BASIS

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Landiguda, Distt: Koraput (Odisha) (residential

co-educational school system under Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India), invites applications from eligible candidates for empanelment of teachers purely on contract basis for the academic session 2017-18. JNVs being residential in nature, makes it mandatory for the teachers to reside in the Vidyalaya campus.

REMUNERATION OFFERED :

PGTs - Normal station Rs. 27500/-pm, hard station Rs. 32500/-pm), PGT(Food Production & Beverages) Rs. 20000/-pm.

TGTs- Normal station Rs. 26250/-pm, hard station Rs. 31250/-pm FCSa- Rs. 26250/- pm.

UPPER AGE LIMIT IS 60 YEARS FOR PGTs/TGTs & FCSAs AS ON 30.06.2017

Interested/eligible applicants can download the application format as stated above and apply to the Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,Landiguda Distt.Koraput (Odisha) where he/she wishes to apply for empanelment. A candidate willing to apply for more than one post will have to apply separately for each post.

The candidates are advised to annex self attested testimonials in support of his/her age, qualification, experience, scholastic/non-scholastic achievements alongwith the application form as the merit list will be prepared JNV wise on the basis of his/her scholastic/non-scholastic achievements only. No separate interviews will be held. The cut off date for determining the eligibility will be 30.06.2017.

The candidates are requested to appear before the duly constituted Appointment Committee for PGTs on 19.06.17, for TGTs on 20.06.17 & for FCSAs on 21.06.2017 alongwith all relevant original documents, where he/she has applied for the post for verification and to accept offer of appointment (if offered). In case of his/her non appearance, next available candidate empanelled will be offered offer of appointment. Candidates are advised to apply in one JNV only of his/her choice. Once the Vidyalaya completes the offer of appointment against the available vacancies on merit basis, the rest of the panel will be merged at Cluster Level for further reference and posting of teachers, if required by other JNVs of the same Cluster/other Clusters.

Applications, strictly in the prescribed formats, can be submitted to the office of the Principal/JNV concerned on all working days between from 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM where the candidates(s) wish to apply. Applications can be either sent through registered/speed post only or can be submitted in person in the office of the concerned JNV between 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on all working days. No applications will be accepted in the Regional Office at Bhopal.

The last date of accepting applications in the Office of the Principal concerned JNV where the candidates wish to apply is 15.06.2017.

eligible for the post of TGT(Maths) .

iv) Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these

subjects during all the years of study.

v) Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation

degree also .

Science Candidates should have studied Botany, Zoology and Chemistry during all three

years of graduation .

ii) In case of such Universities which provide for only two subjects out of the three

as mentioned above, in the final year of

graduation, the candidate should have

studied any of the two subject out of Botany,

Zoology and Chemistry in the final year of

examination and all the three subjects, viz.

Botany, Zoology and Chemistry in the first

and second years of graduation.

candidate must have studied other two

subjects in the First and Second year of the

course.

iv) Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these

subjects during all the years of study.

v) Candidate should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in the graduation

degree also

Social i) The candidate should have studied any of

and 2nd year. Similarly, in case of the Honours degree in Geography, the candidate should have studied History/Economics/Political Science in 1st and

2nd year. Candidate with BA(Hons.) in Economics or Political Science are not eligible for the post of TGT Social Studies.

iv)Candidate should also have secured 50% marks in aggregate individually in these subjects during all the years of study.

v) Candidate should have secured at least

50% marks in aggregate in the graduation degree also

TGT Concerned Regional Language as an elective
