UAE-Japan Cultural Center presents “Japanese Cultural Summer Camp 2013” for College and High school students. It is a great

opportunity to taste Japanese Culture. This 3-day Camp combines Lectures and Cultural Workshops (in English) by Japanese

experienced staffs. Global electronics giant, and Japan’s leading manufacturer SHARP is the main sponsor for the event. Sharp will

present its active involvement and contributions to the environment in the region as well as introduce their eco-positive products to

visitors. This camp is officially supported by Japan Foundation and Japanese

Consulate of Dubai.

11:00 a.m - 12:30 p.m: Tea Ceremony (Demonstration & workshop)

9:30 a.m: Registration 10:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m: Ikebana Flower Arrangement (Demonstration & Workshop for 10 students) additional fee for flower Dhs30

10:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m: Japanese Calligraphy (Demonstration & Workshop)

11:30 a.m - 12:30 p.m: Grand lecture by SHARP Middle East (New Product Introduction & Model Usage + Lecture)

12:30 p.m -13:00 p.m: Closing Ceremony

Venue: Maraya Art Center, Sharjah Registration starts May 1, 2013

Fee: Dhs120/day.Exclusive package of Dhs300 for full course 3days/person

(must pay in advance).

Choose one from the two workshops on 1st and 3rd day, as each workshop has limited seats. Certificates will be given for full-course

participants.
