Shake-down at City Hall — again!

City Council has called off the searchfor a new Chief Administrative Officer,and appointed Shawn Boven, who hasbeen the Manager of Public Works for thepast 10 years, and more recently the in-terim CAO after Allan Chabot left. Theappointment ends an expensive contractwith the head-hunting company whowas to handle the hiring of a new CAO.

“It became clear quite quickly onceShawn was in the role that he was thebest fit for the organization and the com-munity. Shawn supports the vision ofCouncil and will be key helping imple-ment it,” said Mayor Neil Menard.

And right off the bat, Shawn will helpin re-structuring City Hall’s ‘new seniormanagement leadership team’. They arecurrently looking for:
