    A message from the Director

C ongratulations to our students who have completed their programs and aregetting ready to enter the workforce! AlsoCongratulations to all of you forcompleting the Fall 2020 semester at TCR!I know that it has been a unique andchallenging semester, but it is a testamentto your resilience and grit that you havemade it this far. We are excited about2021 and have a few reminders for thestudents who are returning in January.

I observed an auto mechanics lessonrecently where Automotive Instructor Mr.Carrico was teaching his students how tosolder. As he stated, there are many waysto fasten wires together. You can twistthem, you can use electrical tape, etc. Byfar the strongest and best way, though, isto solder the two wires together.

We believe that hands-on, in-person learning isthe best way for you to learn the skills andknowledge necessary to begin your career. Wewill continue to work hard to keep our classeshere on campus. In order to do so, we need youto continue to follow our protocols regardingsafety and health.

Please continue to wear masks if you are movingaround or any time you are not at least six feetaway from everyone else. Also please stay in yourcohort group with your class and instructor. If youdo need to move outside of your cohort, pleasewear a mask. It is also important to not attendschool if you have any COVID symptoms or if youhave been in close contact with anyone who hastested positive for COVID.

Remember that we are here to support you! If youhave questions or need help, whether it isacademic or financial, please contact us here inthe main office!
