Please find enclosed herewith the letter received form Reserve Bank of India

regarding All India Inter School Quiz to be organized on s" August, 2014 from 1:00 P.M to

5:00 P.M at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakirshanan Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Auditorium, Delhi

Cantt, New Delhi.

• Pre-Quarter Final and Quarter Final will be held on the same day.

• Refreshment and certificates will be given to the participates.

• One team comprising of two students from each school from classes IX to XII are eligible.

• Registration form and list of contact persons is also attached with the letter.

• Each team must be escorted by a teacher to the venue and Rs. 100/- will be provided

toward conveyance by the RBI.

Head of Gov!. schools of Zone 19,2~1 and all RPWs are requested to send one team each

from their school for the programme escorted by a teacher.

This issues with the prior approval of the competent authority.

Dear Madam,

Beginning the year 2012, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched RBIQ, an all-

India Inter-School Quiz, with a view to create awareness and interest about the

history and role of RBI, about banking and finance, other banking institutions,

economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the

growth and progress of India over the years.

2. RBIQ is informative, educational and enjoyable and helps building connect

between RBI and the young student community enrolled in schools across the

country and achieve extensive dissemination of financial literacy. It is also an

opportunity for recognizing and encouraging bright young students on a national

platform.

3. This year, RBIQ will be held at 62 locations across the country. Delhi has

been chosen as one of the locations. The Quiz will have four stages. The Pre-

Quarter Final and Quarter Final will be held on the same day. Participating schools in

the Pre-Quarter Final and Quarter Final levels of RBIQ will need to make their own

transport and other arrangements

4. Winning teams from each of the zones from the Quarter Final stage will move

to the Zonal Finals and then to the National Final. Travel, Stay, etc. arrangements, if

any, for the teams participating in Zonal Finals as also the National Final will be

made by RBI. These two Final stages of RBIQ 2014 will be telecast on a reputed TV

channel.

5. Each student taking part in RBIQ will be given a Certificate of Participation.

Students participating in the Zonal Finals and the National Final will win attractive

prizes. Refreshments will be served to all students taking part in RBIQ.

6. Students studying in Standard IX, X, Xl & XII are eligible to participate in

RBIQ. Each school is requested to send only one team comprising 2 students from

any of these classes. Each team must be escorted to the venue by a teacher

representative. In case any school sends more than one team, only one team from

that school will be considered for participation at the Quarter-Final stage onwards.

7. You are requested to kindly issue a circular to all the eligible schools under

your jurisdiction for participation in the RBIQ. A list of locations along with the dates

of RBIQ, registration form for RBIQ and the contact details of the nodal officers of

Delhi are enclosed.

8. For students of Delhi, Pre-Quarter final of RBIQ will be held on August 08,

2014 from 01:OOpm to 05:00pm at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Kendriya

Vidyalaya Sangathan Auditorium, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi. Last year around 150

schools of Delhi have participated in this event
