• Songkran is a festival held every year in Thailand on April 13. This is Thailand's New Year's party.

Title: Celebrating New Year's Eve in the United States

• Topic Sentence: I love to celebrate New Year's Eve in the United States. It's a joyous occasion with family or friends.

• To begin with, my parents and I go out shopping and buy hot wings and sparkling apple juice. Secondly, we love to camp in front of the TV in our pajamas and watch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest. While watching TV, we'll snack on nachos and warm cheese.
