Italian ArchitectureItaly’s style of Architecture is very diverse and

broad. Until 1861 Italy was divided into several city-states. Italy is well known for its achievements in architecture ,Including its domes, arches and other things during The Roman Times.

Italian ArchitectureThey also found the Ronaissance architecture

movement in the late 1500’s to the 1700’s,and they are homeland of Palladianism .It involved Neoclassical Architecture ,it was also in Australia, Britain and America during the 1700’s to early 1900’s.

Italian ArchitectureItaly has about 100,000 monuments such as The

Leaning Tower of Pisa and The Coliseum .Italy’s architecture was influenced by the World, they were inspired by Andrea Palladio. Ancient Roman architecture was similar to Greek architecture around the 2nd Century

Italian ArchitectureThe Leaning Tower of Pisa took 344 years to be

built from 1173 to 1517.It has 8 floors, on the last floor there is 7 bells. It officialy leaned in 1178 due to the sign sinking into soft ground. The controution was stopped twice due to war. The Architect was Bonnano Pisano.

Italian ArchitectureThe Colloseum was build in 72 A.D. It’s also know

as Colisemn and Flavian Amphiteatre.It could hold up to 50,000 to 80,000 people.It was used for: Animal Hunts ,Re-enactments of Battle, Mock Sea Battles and Executions

Italian ArchitechturePisa is a city in Tuscany, Central Italy.Besides The

leaning Tower of Pisa, it has about over 20 historic churches and loads of bridges across the River Arno.Pisa has over 87,373 residents in it’s city. Most of it’s architechture came from Italian marine republics.

Italian ArchitectureThe Pirelli Tower was built from 1955 to 1960, It’s

127 meters high. It was temporaraly the highest skyscraper made of reinforced concrete in the world. On The 18th of April 2002 at 17:48pm plane called Rockwell Commander 112 crashed into the upped building of the tower and killed the pilot in the plane and two other people in the bulding.Sixty people were injured.

Italian ArchitectureSan Gimignano is a small medieval hill that’s

walled. It’s in the the provence of Siena, Tuscany. San Gimignano is known as the Town of Five Towers .And Famous for it’s medieval architecture. It’ flag means “Coat of Arms”

Italian ArchitectureManarola is a small town in Riomaggiore. It’s in

the province of La Spezia, Ligura in northern Italy .It’s the 2nd Smallest town of Cinque Terre. It’s the oldest of the towns.The town is celebrated by is paintings by Antonio Discovolo.
