    1. You are the officer in charge of Administration at the UTech Police Force. You

    are given the responsibility of determining the rank and salary of your sub-

    ordinate colleagues. You are required to use Microsoft Excel formulas to

    achieve your goal.

    a. Copy the below Staff table and add five (5) employees with 20, 25, 3, 18

    and 30years of service respectively. The table should also be formatted

    appropriately using the company colours which are blue and orange. (10Marks)

    b. Place the below table in Sheet 2 of your workbook and use it (with the

    appropriate formulas) to determine the rank, salary and allowance of

    your staff members (10 Marks)

    column should be displayed: Sub-officer or Officer. Use the following

    criteria to determine seniority: If the staff member has over 15 yearshe/she is an Officer, otherwise they are a Sub-Officer. (10 Marks)

    2. You are contemplating going to University and a major factor in your decision

    is the financing of your tuition. Your tuition amounts to $200000 per year and

    your course will last for four years. The Student Loan Bureau is offering you a

    loan to cover the four years at an interest rate of 9% per annum with ten (10)

    years to repay.

    a. How much per month will you be expected to pay in order to complete

    repayment within the specified time

    b. How much money should you borrow from SLB in order for you to repay

    $10000 per month? Change your loan amount to reflect this value. (5

    3. You are a supervisor for two students doing the same courses as shown below.
