    Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Keith Parmer and I have been working within the Information Technology industry for 14+ years. My professional experience consists of thirteen years with QVC, the home shopping channel based in WestChester Pa, and 1 year with a manufacturing company in Manheim Pa. called Fenner Precision. I have held numerous positions within the QVC IT department that were both technical and managerial in nature. While I am often considered a "jack of all trades master of one" within the Information Technology industry, I would like to bring to your attention some specific skills and achievements listedwithin my cover letter as well as my resume.

    Some results achieved to date include:

    Fenner Precision - Installed and successfully configured VMware ESXi embedded solution utilizing Dell servers and storage subsystem. VMotion was successfully implemented to help increase system availability and performance.Fenner Precision - Implemented an improved Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP infrastruct

    ure utilizing the VMware solution described in the first bullet. A Citrix XenApp solution was implemented to increase the remote access performance for our remote site locations (UK, New York and China).Fenner Precision - Install, configure and manage Smart devices such as Blackberry's, iPhones and iPads. Lotus Traveler and Blackberry Enterprise Server were installed and configured to manage these devices.Fenner Precision - Install and configure a Lotus Notes 8.x mail server environment.QVC - Managed the Tier II Support group (team of 10) which was responsible for supplying Mainframe and Open Systems support for approximately 600 compute systems/devices. My team was responsible for resolving problem tickets which involvedthe QVC.COM E-commerce web site as well as QVC's proprietary Order Entry/Customer Service application running on the fault tolerant Stratus operating system.

    QVC - Managed the Middleware/3rd Level Support group (team of 6) after the successful implementation of the WebSphere Business Integration solution for QVC's United States and International SAP Finance application. Both solutions utilizedthe IBM MQ Series messaging product to deliver reliable message delivery betweenall countries (US, United Kingdom and Germany.QVC - Created a "Google like", web based application that enabled full text searches against QVC's problem tracking application. This web page was eventually posted on the Company portal home page (for 6000+ QVC employees - US as well as International) so all QVC employees could utilize it to locate IT solutions.
