Online and In Classroom Training

To assist the Distributor and Dealer network, Isuzu developed a training website to provide free, unlimited access to training information. Our goal is to increase Isuzu technicians’ training completion rates, provide comprehensive web based training modules, and provide online tests for two year re-certifications. Additionally, this will provide Distributors and Dealers monitoring tools for their network training to help identify training needs. The Isuzu training website increases network training percentages using easy to access, low cost tools.

Isuzu Diesel places the support of our products in the hands of the Distributor and Dealer network and their thoroughly trained technicians. The Isuzu Training Program is available both online, as web based modules, and as Hands-On courses with certified Isuzu trainers.

Hands-On Courses

Hands-On Training courses are offered either at Isuzu Motor Company directly or off-site locations which target the Distributor & Dealer needs. The web based training acts as prerequisites for the Hands-On training and must be completed prior to onsite training.

Hands-On Courses Include:

• iT4 Electronic Controls and Diagnostics

• Tier 4 Final 4LE2 Electronic Controls and Diagnostics

• Tier 3 Engine

• E-IDSS Software

• Policy and Procedures

Isuzu PowerTrain recognizes the need for experienced Distributor trainers to develop the Isuzu service network and provide real life, hands-on experience to their own dealers. The close relationship Distributors share with their Dealers can provide an understanding of their unique products, OEMs, and customer base with locational challenges. Isuzu PowerTrain is offering Train-the-Trainer courses to establish Isuzu Distributor service staff as qualified Isuzu training representatives. All courses, publications, and support materials are designed to provide information to train their respective network with the materials and hands-on training information required for the Isuzu Dealer network.
