The redevelopment of
Lismore Base Hospital
continues apace with the
construction of north tower
on schedule.
To be known as F Block, the
north tower is on schedule
for completion early 2020.
The concrete floor of level 9
was poured at the beginning
of November, with four more
majors concrete pours to
occur prior to Christmas
(weather permitting).
The floor of level 10 will be
poured in the coming weeks,
with the roof of level 10
being poured prior to
Christmas.
We thank staff for their
ongoing patience and
understanding for any
disruption caused.

As work continues on pouring each level of the eight-storey F Block, the internal structure is also starting to take shape with
high-level service rough-in, wall framing, and high-level wall sheeting commenced on level 4. Photos courtesy John Holland
Internal wall frames taking shape The next 12 months of the Lismore Base
Hospital redevelopment will focus on the
construction of the eight-storey North Tower.
Each level from level 4 to 10 of F Block links
into the existing E Block. The levels will contain
the following services:
Level 3 — Plant
Level 4 — Anaesthetics offices,
Pharmacy, Admissions
Level 5 — Imaging
Level 6 — Perioperative, Endoscopy
Level 7 — Plant
Level 8 — ICU
Level 9 — Medical IPU
Level 10 — Surgical IPU
