Dear VBeyondians,

Hope April Issue has given significant input & information about VBeyond’s recent activities.

We have done two changes i.e. One, newsletter will be released bi-monthly & second, we have

re-named the title of our newsletter to make it more promising. Now it will be released under the

title of “SANSMARAN (संस्मरण)” . April & May were average in terms of business. However, we are fortunate to expend our

VBeyond family. For the first time, we added double digit new employees in VBeyond family.

Now, we have become a team of 60+ employees in this family. A couple of members decided to

part ways and that is certainly part & parcel of every organization.

VBeyond Corporation has been chosen among 25 Most Promising HR Consultants in Mumbai,

Pune and Delhi,2014 by Silicon India, which signifies our presence in the world of consulting.

Another initiative we have taken is QUIZIOSITY, monthly quiz competition across organization.

First quiz competition was held in our Lucknow office on 9th May 2014. It was fun, learning and

sharing the knowledge base which inspired and motivated employees to read more and more. We

can see people are being more aware while reading newspaper & magazines now.

Further, we designed & implemented our Reward & Recognition” policy. Under this policy, we

recognized budding recruiters of VBeyond. Romil Saxena (US ops) is first person to be recog-

nized by Sandeep Mitra. Sandeep present him a certification of appreciation along with a me-

mento. Rupa Sinha & Priya Mishra (India Ops) were also recognized by their TL, Disha Sharma.

This was a small initiative to keep the budding talent inspired and motivated and would certainly

grow with rapid speed.

We have entered in June, 2014; this is the time when we are required to give our EXTRA. Guys!

pull your sleeves up & accelerate the paddle of effort. I am sure in coming few months; we will

able to achieve our pre-defined goal.

1: Cairn India Ltd. Cairn India Ltd. announces that Mr. P Elango, Interim CEO & Whole time Director

hasdecided to step down for personal reasons. The Board has accepted his resigna-

tion. Mr.Sudhir Mathur, CFO, has taken over the additional responsibility of leading the organization in

the interim. Tom Albanese, CEO Vedanta Resources plc and Mike Yeager, Chairman, Operations Review Board,

Cairn India, will continue to work closely with the leadership team in managing the business under the guidance of the

Board.

Treat Every Task as Three Steps, Not One

Most managers complain of not having enough time. They rush through tasks so they can move on to the next thing. But this kind

of haste creates more chaos than it avoids. Instead, approach every task in three parts: Prep-Do-Review. Spend a min-

ute or two, or even a few seconds, thinking about what you're going to do before you do it. Ask yourself what you're trying to ac-

complish and who should be involved. Then, do the task. Once completed, think about what you did and what happened. What

did you learn? What will you do differently? Being thoughtful allows you to accomplish more with each task. You may not be

crossing things off your to-do list faster, but you'll find you have more control over the results.
