EDITOR’S NOTE

Dear Readers,

Yes it’s indeed that time of the year when we light up candles and pour the champagne to proudly declare it’s a celebration time for me and my team- our efforts, our hard work and our beliefs have been appreciated by you. This issue is special for two reasons one because it’s October- the month of breast cancer awareness and two because with this issue we have completed six months of our publication.

Our music special issue has covered singers of our nation who withstood tough global competition and made a special place in our hearts- three cheers to our forgotten artists. As we put together this issue I’ve learnt the magical effect that music puts you through- our health article music therapy teaches you all. Special Bonding section covers a wonderful relation of a mother daughter while a day from your diary has city boy Gavin Joseph. Read our exclusive article to know the opinions of well know Dj’s and club managers on Hyderabad nightlife. Our special story gives you an insight on Breast Cancer.

Now for the cordon bleu cherry on top- it’s Nikhil Chinappa. An informal, whacky interview where he shares fascinating details of his life. Our special gift to you this fortnight!!! Don’t miss it!!! As I end with a big thank you, I pause a moment to dedicate this issue to the victims of breast cancer. And for those who are tackling this fatal disease, my small message to you is “Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death because attitude is all that makes the difference.” I pledge to go pink this month and support the breast cancer awareness programs. I hope you will do the same.

SUCHITA AHUJA

Honestly, I really like the special bonding section. It helps us learn more about relations around us, I’ve never seen such a section before. I also like the Makeover section- it showed how simple changes could make a person look dynamic. I liked the Ramzan special article and Big Fat Indian Wedding.

WAJID KHALEEL

Tulip magazine has got its own identity. It is differ-ent from the other magazines because it gives us a lot of knowledge of health, culture and heritage, which a lot of us are unaware of. In a short span of time the popularity of the magazine has increased rapidly and this itself is a very big achievement and I wish to see a lot of new and exciting issues in the future. I congratulate the staff, CEO and Editor for all their efforts. Well done and all the best!!!

PRERNA BHAIRWANI

I think Tulip magazine totally lives up to its name. It is as fresh as a TULIP flower that has the fragrance of freshness. It carries every bit of interesting and fun information that keeps people wanting for more and more. I personally wait for every new issue because I get to know a lot about that’s happening in and around Hyderabad. I thor-oughly enjoy reading sections like Special Bonding and A Day from his/her diary, which is totally different and sets apart your magazine from the other!!!

ASHWIN MALWE

The magazine is good, I like its way of presentation. The content is good for lifestyle and very appropri-ate to Hyderabad. I like the section A Day from his/her diary!!!

MOHAN LAL GUPTA

The magazine is a lighter version of heavy lan-guage magazines which are difficult to under-

stand. You have been gradually covering issues useful to the society and I appreciate that. Health and Special Bonding are my favourites.

TSinger Peter Andre launched his most awaited perfume named ‘Mysterious Girl’ but admitted that he is still searching for his mysterious lady after splitting from wife Katie Price. On the occasion of the launch of his new women perfume at a posh bar in London’s Covent Garden, the singer revealed that he is still very active on dating scene. “I’ve been on a few dates, but I’m not with anyone,” he said. However, the star admitted that he has dumped some of his old dating rules. Andre was quoted as say-ing, “When I was younger, I’d wait three days before I called a girl. Now I tell them straight. If they don’t like it, it’s not meant to be.” Talking about the qualities that his perfect women should have, the singer had lot to say as he explained, “There’s noth-ing better than a woman with confidence. A girl can act shy, but she has to be confi-dent in how she presents herself, her smile and how she looks after herself.” “When a woman wears the right clothes, the expectation of how she might look without them is more sexy than her standing there showing it all. It’s also much sexier when a woman doesn’t wear too much make-up. I love a girl being natural,” he added

Wants a kid from IndiaJULIA ROBERTS

TThe 42-year-old actress, who is practicing Hinduism, wants to adopt a kid from India af-ter she fell in love with the country while filming for ‘Eat, Pray Love’ last year. According to sources, Roberts always had complications in her previous pregnancies and therefore thinks that adoption is the best way to extend her family. Incidentally, her close friend quoted to Daily Express that Roberts always wanted more children over the years. “But her past pregnancies were fraught with complications and she was forced into an ex-tended hospital stay right before she had her twins,” further stated Roberts pal.

TTitanic 3D is simultaneously a surprise and an expected inevitability. Cameron’s latest runaway hit, Avatar, was shot in native 3D, and en-joyed the highest-grossing-run in film history. Cameron’s enthusiasm for 3-D technology has made a possible Titanic re-release a definite possibility for some time now. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Titanic 3D has an expected release date of April 15, 2012. Its the 100th anniversary of the Titanic disaster. The conversion of Titanic to 3-D is expected to cost $10-15 million to produce. As of yet, no produc-tion house has been hired to oversee the project. As told to the The Hollywood Reporter by Jon Landau, Titanic producer, the process of converting stereo film into 3-D is costly and time-consuming. To be done effectively, the process of converting Titanic to 3-D must be performed meticulously and with a creative eye. According to Landau, several production houses have been tested, and a select group has already been chosen for further review by Cameron.

WIFE DIRECTS

In a new avtaarKKatrina Kaif will be seen in a totally new avatar in the lat-est movie by Yash Raj Films directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This film is currently being shot in Delhi. Katrina will be seen in the role of a friendly, simple Delhi girl in this romantic comedy. She has adopted a new hairstyle for this movie where her hair is poker straight, waist length with short fringes. She was seen visiting the salon before leaving for Delhi to get her hair styled by Asif even though she wasnt in the best of her healths, the stylist says that she really did her best efforts to look good and wanted to get it styled before leaving for the filming in Delhi. This movie will have Imran Khan in the lead role opposite Katrina and Ali Zafar, Pakistani Singer-actor will also be there. This will be the first Yash Raj movie for Imran Khan and the pair is expected to be a hit among the audience. Recent news about the movie also says that Katrina has been injured while filming where she had to move and Imran had to pull her with a gun in his hand, that was when a wrong move resulted in smashing of the Gun’s barrel on Kat’s nose and she end-ed up having a bloody nose, the bleeding must have stopped but the actress is still in pain.So a new hairstyle for the bollywood beauty but an injured nose comes with it too?

BBollywood icon Aamir Khan was “nervous” about his wife Kiran Rao’s directing debut and shocked by her initial refusal

to cast him in “Dhobi Ghat (Mumbai Diaries),” he said at its world premiere in Toronto. The film fea-

tures Khan as brooding painter Arun who strikes up a flirtation with an American In-dian woman named Shai (Monica Dogra) visiting her family in Mumbai with the city’s sprawling laundry district, or dhobi ghat, as the backdrop. “When (Rao) told me she was writing a script I was very nervous,” Khan said, “because I was thinking one of these days this script is going to be completed and I’ll have to read it and what if I don’t like it, it won’t be a very comfortable situation.” “I was feeling bad,” he said. “I thought, I hope she doesn’t complete the script.” When it was finished, Khan pressed Rao to go visit his cousin and they would all read it together, hoping that if both he and his cousin disliked it “at least I’d have numbers on my side.”I was really quite terrified.” But after reading it, Khan said he became “fascinated by what she had written.” “It’s so delicate and beautiful,” he said. “Her characters speak in such a different and unique voice, and all of that hit me and I thought, ‘Wow I married a really talented woman here.’ When I fell in love the first time, I didn’t know how really talented she was. When I read the script I was really amazed and I fell in love with her again,” he gushed.

AAccording to the Bollywood’s sources Mallika Sherawat is superior to Sridevi. However, many of the aficionados of Sridevi reprove the topic as Sridevi is well-known for her good looks in concert with her performance and Mal-lika is idiom as a sex icon in Bollywood. The grounds after the assessment is that Mallika Sherawat acted in the role of a snake woman in her latest flick Hisss which is produced in Hindi and English at the same time. The film is lineup for making public on 22nd October. The reviewers who watched the promotional snaps of the movie remarked as quoted. Sridevi did act in the role of a snake woman, long back in the movie ‘Nagina’. The spectators expresses that Sridevi was beautiful in the movie but she cannot articulate significance of retaliation through her eyes. They exclaim that Mallika’s fa-cial lexis coins shiver in the spine. Thus, Mallika Sherawat who frightened the viewers through the photographs must allure the viewers with her acting as well. However many of the viewers might not absorb the remark that Mallika is superior to Sridevi.

NNew York: A nagging knee injury has forced Venus Williams to skip the rest of the 2010 tennis season, including next month’s Fed Cup final between the United States and Italy. Williams, a seven-time grand slam winner, has been troubled by the prob-lem since July when she was knocked out of the quarter-finals at Wimbledon. The world number three has not played since last month’s US Open, where she lost in the semi-finals to the eventual champion Kim Clijsters. She was to due to play this week’s China Open but withdrew because of her knee problems, raising doubts about her chances of playing in the Fed Cup final and the WTA Championships. “I have been getting treatment and therapy on my knee and have been making prog-ress but unfortunately must continue to keep weight off my knee for the short term and won’t be ready to return to competition in 2010.”

BBangalore: Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar bagged his maiden ICC Crick-eter of the Year trophy along with the People’s Choice Award, while compatriot Virender Sehwag was named the Test Cricketer of the Year at a glittering ceremo-ny here. Tendulkar, who has an international career spanning over two decades, clinched the coveted trophy by beating South African Hashim Amla, Englishman Graeme Swann and Sehwag. “It’s better late than never. I am getting the award in the 21st year of my career, so it’s fantastic. I have been working hard for this award,” Tendulkar said after receiving the honour. Tendulkar, who made his debut as a 16-year-old against Pakistan way back in November 15, 1989, was also named the winner of LG People’s Choice Award. “To play well is a challenge that you take in your stride and work hard to perform. I am doing this for the last 21 years and I take a lot of pride to play for my country,” Tendulkar said.

SSuzuki: Formula One has paid tribute to former Lotus team boss Peter Warr after his death from a heart attack at the age of 72. The sport’s commercial supremo Bernie Ecclestone, who turns 80 this month, said in a message on the official Formula One website (www.formula1.com) that he had lost a good friend. “When Peter was in Formula One he helped me to build it to what it is today,” he added. Warr, who died at home in France on Monday, was Lotus team manager under founder Colin Chapman and went on to run the team for seven years after the Briton’s death in 1982. He attended this year’s season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix to witness the Lotus name return to the sport with Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes. “Peter was a great supporter of our racing aspirations and it was fantastic to meet someone with such knowledge, spirit and passion for Lotus and for our sport,” Fernandes said in a statement.

HYDERABAD NIGHT LIFE and more....As told to Dipika Pillay

DJ PIYUSHDescribe yourself in three wordsPanache, Positive & Ground-ed

What interested you in tak-ing DJ’ing as your profes-sion?Music is my life & it was the beat of the drum which used to make my heart go faster. Even as a child I’ve heard so much music, I made my 1st mixed non-stop tape when I was in my 7th standard, on my twin cassette deck at that time I dint know that those were the basics of dj’ying. I had my own dance troupe right after my 10thstandard n just then I got into dj’ying as well. Thank god for Dj’s n music.

What is the best part about being a DJ?I get to play my music for people in different cities & coun-tries, it makes me happy when I see them dance like there’s no tomorrow, forgetting all their problems and I’ve noticed that sometimes people walk into the club looking fed up, maybe they had a bad day or something but I always find a way with my music to make them feel better and lose control.

How is Hyderabad when it comes to nightlife?Superbly cozy, but I just want people to dance when they walk into a club and talk less. More dancing, less looking around and more of letting go. I want people to dance like no one’s watch-

ing.

What are the recent changes you have noticed in people’s attitude towards music?Just that sometimes they get stuck listening to just one genre only…n only listen 2 just that……I wish they would give a chance to all kinds of music. Listen to all kinds of genres and there sub-genres as well.

OCTOBER 16-31, 201026 TULIP

Breastless, NOT breathless...October is the month of diyas, mithai and dandiyas. But apart from all the vibrant festivity, it ’s also the month of breast cancer awareness. Yes the Breast Cancer Awareness Month is here! This special month is punctuated with breast cancer awareness gatherings, fundraisers, remembrances of those we have lost to the disease, and celebrations for our survivors. Swapna Balaji charts down a learning lesson at the same time dedicates this informative piece of writing to all the women who have fought this fatal disease bravely.

While bathing one morning, Sunaina Luthra felt a slight lump in her left breast. Thinking

it was an allergic reaction caused by a new brand of deodorant used the day before, she ignored it. Only when she noticed that her lump was increasing did she tell her husband. The following day they consulted an oncologist and got a shock. Sunaina was diagnosed with breast cancer. The 38-year-old woman was one of an estimated 90,000 plus cases in India in 2010.

According to the Indian health ministry, breast cancer is set to pip cervical cancer as the most reported cancer among women in India by 2020. But experts say awareness is key to fighting the disease. Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting females. Recent Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) data shows that the incidence of breast cancer is high among Indian females in the metropolitan cities of Mumbai, Chennai, and Delhi. The rise is being documented mainly in the metros, but it can be safely said that many cases in rural areas go unnoticed Although the data available in India is not very reliable, it is estimated that one in 22 Indian females is likely to develop breast cancer during her lifetime in contrast to one in eight in America.

CAUSE AND EFFECTS:The exact cause of breast cancer has not been established but clinical data has clearly shown a number of risk factors, which may be responsible for it:• Age: High incidence in the age

group above 50 years and very low below 25 years. The disease is more aggressive in younger patients.

• Menstrual cycle: Common in the ladies who have a longer menstrual life, i.e. the onset of menarche is earlier and cessation of menstruation is late.

• Marital and maternal status: More common in spinsters, or if married then have not given birth to children, or if given birth then have not breast fed their offspring.

• A positive history of breast cancer in mother, sisters, and daughters increases the risk.

• Smoking and alcohol intake are supposed to increase the risk.

• Women with a past history of having breast cancer on one side are at a greater risk to develop cancer on the opposite side also, about 1 per cent per year and the lifetime risk is 10 per cent.

• Obesity and higher intake of saturated fatty acids have been also linked.

• A woman who exercises atleast four hours per week reduces her risk of breast cancer. Exercise pumps up the immune system and cuts the oestrogen (female hormone) level.

• Radiation to chest: Exposure of breast to radiation that may happen during radiotherapy for any cancer disease located either inside the chest or on the chest wall, may make the person more vulnerable to the development of breast cancer. This may happen 10 or 12 years after the

exposure.• Oral Contraceptives: Women below

the age of 35 years, who have been using oral contraceptive pills for more than 10 years, are at an increased risk of developing breast cancer.

P.S.: The readers are cautioned that these facts have been derived from the statistical analysis of the factors seen in the breast-cancer patients; they should not be taken as causative or predisposing factors. In the present era when breast cancer has become such a common disease, it is advisable to follow the guidelines.

Breast cancer has a genetic link too. The disease is supposed to be more common among women whose first relatives had this problem. About 5% of breast cancers are hereditary, i.e. due to a gene being transmitted either from the father or from the mother. Typically, these families have many members who fall victim to the disease, which tends to occur at a relatively young age and often affects both breasts. Two genes namely BRCA1 and BRCA2 have been identified although genetic testing, because of ethical, emotional and social implications that they carry, is still in the sphere of research in most developed countries except the U.S.

SPECIALBreast cancer, with reference to clinical management, is divided in three stages—early breast cancer, locally advanced and late or metastatic condition. Early breast cancer includes tumours of less than 5 cm in diameter. Locally advanced tumours are more than 5 cm in size, fixed to underlying muscles or overlying skin. And any patient with secondaries (metastasis) from the breast tumour in other organs is included in the late stage of the disease. The common sites of secondaries are lymph nodes (at distant sites, axilla being included in early breast cancer), bones, lungs, liver, brain, skin, etc.

DIAGNOSISExperts say early detection is the best way to prevent the disease from spreading and improve the odds of survival. If detected in time, the cure rate is an astonishing 97 percent. ‘Women should perform a monthly breast self-examination which is a great way to be familiar with your breasts’ texture, size, and skin condition,’ said Praveen Kumar Bansal, senior consultant, medical oncology, Asian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS).

The cancerous tumour can be detected in the asymptomatic stage (when the person does not have any complaint regarding the tumour) and this is possible by following regular screening protocols. The screening protocol should be started from the age of 45 years (40 years in the high-risk cases) and consists of mammography, clinical examination by a specialist and self-examination of breasts by the woman herself.

MEN TOO CAN GET IT!!!A 65-year-old man consulted the doctor for a swelling in the region of his chest, it was difficult for him to understand and, then, to accept that he had the cancer of the breast. A majority of people is unaware that breast cancer can afflict men too.

Breast cancer in males is an infrequent problem; for every 100 cases of breast cancer, 99 are seen in females and only 1 in males. Statistics in the US reveal that breast cancer constitutes only 0.2 per cent of all malignancies seen in males whereas breast cancer is the

commonest cancer in females—about 26 per cent.In India, the incidence is still lower. Because of its rarity, clinicians and researchers have not been able to collect substantial data on the subject and ignorance persists both in the minds of the doctors and the public.

GO PINK Sheryl Crow, Kylie Minougue, Edie Falco, DJ Sonique aka Sonia Clarke, singer Annastacia and Jennifer Saunders have all been victims of Breast Cancer, yet have fought with it. Mrs Jane Mgrath, wife of Australian Cricketor Glenn Mgrath died after battling the disease for 11 long years. As they say ‘better to be safe than

sorry’ on this high note I request everybody to create awareness this month- for the sake of public interest. Make a positive contribution to the society you are living in, go pink this month!!!

HYDERABAD CONTRIBUTED IN ITS

OWN WAY

Like MOTHER, Like DAUGHTER

A daughter is a little girl who grows up to be a friend and every mother’s treasure. She is a great support and lightens up your day with her stunning smile and constant babbling. A daughter is always a mother’s gender partner, her closest ally in the family, an extension of herself; says someone anonymous. Here is a special story of a mother- daughter.

A daughter can always look up to her mother and vice versa. The mother-daughter relationship is a very special bond alive with secrets, love, anger, contentment, worry and at the same time an assurance

that they are there for each other all the time.

Recollecting her daughter as a kid, she says, “Prabhjyot has been a very cute little daughter since she was young. She was a short but a sweet girl and has sustained both these features up to now.” And both of them begin to laugh at this statement.“One of my most memorable incidences about her is when she won the cutest kid award. It was conducted by the Round Table Organization and there were entries from all over the country. It made me so very proud when hers was selected the best photograph of the year and it was one of those moments when I realized that a daughter is a gift of love,” quips Amrit with the same joy and excitement.

A mother feels very assured and satisfied the moment she can start relying on her daughter. A daughter is the happy memories of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future. Amrit lovingly gazes at her daughter and remarks, “Prabhjyot has not changed at all as far as I know, but yeah she has now become more responsible and a lot more dependable, especially when I go out of town. She actually managed the house very well when I went to Singapore recently.”

A daughter may outgrow your lap, but she will never outgrow your heart. Amrit has always felt the same when it comes to her daughter. She says with her eyes filled with joy, “She is the best gift god has given me and we have always shared a very special bonding with each other. We have been through the tough moments and jovial instances together and we love each other for what we are.”

The affinity in this mother daughter relationship is admirable as they are very closely knit and share a very intimate bond. Prabhjyot has a great rapport with her mom when it comes to both her personal and social life.

“I hang out with friends; go to parties and as soon as I get back home, my mom has to know the whole thing. My mouthpiece starts and I go on till I finish describing the entire incidence. I

share each and everything with my mom and I love the way she understands me and guides me throughout,” says Prabhjyot flashing a charming smile.

Talking about herself and her attributes, she says, “I have always been a very sensitive person from the start, so I get hurt easily and it becomes difficult for me to get over it. But the best part is, once I tell my mom everything, my heart gets very light and the pain just vanishes miraculously. She knows perfectly well how to handle me and counsel me.”

SPECIAL BONDING

OCTOBER 16-31, 2010 29TULIP

OCTOBER 16-31, 201030 TULIP

Prabhjyot has finished her masters in broadcast journalism from UK after doing her graduation in mass communication and journalism from St.Francis. She teaches the primary kids in a school temporarily. She absolutely loves it and continues to work here even after getting lucrative offers from some of the prominent media houses in Hyderabad.

Apart from her interest in journalism and teaching, she also indulges in other activities. “I love painting, sketching and drawing. I have been doing it for 15 years now and I am very passionate about it. I have never thought of taking it up as

a profession though. I also read many books, especially fictional stuff, Nicholas Sparks being my favorite author. I have now started reading books with deeper thoughts as my brother pesters me to.”

One of the best qualities she possesses is that she never leaves anything incomplete. Once started, she has to finish it no matter how long it takes her to do the job. It can be either paintings, books or even her present job for that matter.

When asked about the tough times she faced, Prabhjyot “The times when I stayed in UK, it was my mom whom i missed the most and even she struggled here without me. I wanted to stay in the UK for some more time, but not at the cost of staying away from my mom.”

This avid mother daughter combo doesn’t stop at this; they are the best of friends and constant shopping partners too. “We go to Bangkok very often because my grandparents are settled there. One of our best moments together is when we went to Bangkok to shop in the Floating market. We roamed around like crazy and took many photographs too. Like they say ‘shop till you drop’; this was the perfect moment to describe the phrase,” says Prabhjyot as they both candidly recollect some of the memories of the crazy things they did.

Being opposites in quite a few mannerisms and nature, they enjoy each other’s company and find it very entertaining too. Prabhjyot chuckles and says “I and my mom are very close knit but at the same time differ in our nature. My mom is really patient with things while I have a high temper. She is a spend thrift and I always prefer saving money. I always set aside my salary and pocket money and spend everyone else’s in my family. We resemble only in our looks. I am totally like my father by nature while my brother and my mom have a very parallel lifestyle.” Amrit had the exact views in this aspect.

SPECIAL BONDING

When asked about their social life and family bonding, this is what Prabhjyot had to say. “My mom has always been a family person, very modern and outgoing in her social circle and conservative and spiritual when it comes to our family. We follow our tradition and culture and there are certain restrictions imposed on me, but I like it that way.”

“People in my social circle don’t believe it when I tell them I am a very ethnic person. But I always make sure my family always keeps up its culture and follows the rituals and practices of our religion. I am also pretty modern in my outlook and I am glad that I can adapt to new things,” says Amrit.

Talking about her mom’s interests, Prabhjyot and her mom exchange knowing looks, smile and then she says, “She is very passionate about cooking. She cooks anything we ask for at any time of the day and never cribs or refuses, that’s the best part. She is an extremely lovable person and very caring when it comes to family.”

Prabhjyot laughs and jokes saying this should have actually been a father daughter bonding conversation. “Like as usual, it has always been the father and daughter vs. mom and son trait in our family. I am more like my dad and the best part is that I am pampered by all in the family.”It is certain that there is no kind of affection as purely angelic as of a father to a daughter.

Going back to her childhood memories, she recollects fondly and says, “I can never forget those gaming sessions which we used to have when I and my bro were young. We used to team up and play badminton, table tennis, indoor games and even cricket sometimes. Mom and dad made sure we played daily for at least two hours. Till date, we have regular family conversations at our place and we bond a lot as we discuss different issues. Even during these chats, my dad and I pair up while my brother supports my mom completely.”

She says filled with pride, “Mom loves me and my brother a lot and is very affectionate towards us. She has never cribbed about anything in life. I always wanted to be like my mom since I had been a kid and I still stick to it. I totally admire her for the way she handles her social and personal life so smoothly. And oh, how I wish i had been tall like her.”

The mother daughter relationship is a complex one. This pair has managed it very effortlessly with a great flow of love, respect and mutual understanding. God couldn’t be everywhere, so he created a wonderful creature called mother.

OCTOBER 16-31, 2010 33TULIP

If you get bored during long stints behind the wheel or get stuck in traffic jams a lot, install a music system. Listening to your favourite music while driving will alleviate the boredom and frustration. However, before you buy one find out what the important factors are in a music system. Blaupunkt, Sony, Kenwood, Philips, Pioneer, Aiwa and JVC are some major brand.Start Off With a Good Head UnitA good head unit is the most important part of the system. A head unit with high-voltage RCA outputs is useful. High-voltage outputs allow better noise immunity but if the speakers are run from the amplifiers built into the head unit, don’t bother with RCA outputs. Head units and ampli-fiers need to have impeccable sound quality and no noise (background noise or alternator noise) whatsoever. Paying slightly more and getting a CD Changer control will enable you to simply plug in a changer in the future even if you are getting a cassette or MD head unit for the present.

Enter the SpeakersInstalled in the dash and the rear they are definitely the most important aspect of the music system. They determine how the sys-tem sounds. No equalizer or processor can compensate enough for poorly-installed speakers.

AUTOMOBILE

UnderstandingMusic System

OCTOBER 16-31, 201034 TULIP

AmplifiersAmplifiers do not merely make a system sound louder; they also make it sound better. Reputed brands should be preferred. The size and the weight of the amplifier are important. The different types of amplifiers are Classes A, B, C and D of which class B amplifiers are the most common.

EqualizersEqualizers are used to fine-tune a system. They are valuable instruments that can flatten a system’s frequency response (they can make the output levels of all frequencies similar). There are two types of equalizers: mono and stereo equalisers. The main difference between mono

and stereo EQs is that a mono EQ has only one input and one out-put and a stereo has two inputs and two outputs. Many people use mono EQs for the easier control they give over the output sound.

SubwooferThey are generally designed to handle low frequencies down to around 20Hz. With the exception of free-air subwoofers, a lot depends on how well they are mounted and enclosed. They need more power than regular speakers because they are bigger and have to move more air. Opt for a Sony Pioneer or a Kenwood amplifier for the front speakers and a better high-current amplifier for the subwoofers.

Power ConsiderationsIt is better to have more power than you need to get clearer sound. A minimum of 30-50 watts is what is required to drive the speakers. Contrary to popular belief, too much power will not damage the speakers. Speakers get damaged because of distortion. Therefore a bigger amplifier enables higher volumes without distortion.

UpgradingPowerful amplifiers are expensive so it is better to get a two-channel amplifier to drive the subwoofers at acceptable levels. They can be upgraded later with an identical amplifier and each of the subwoofers powered with an amplifier in the bridged mode for more bass.

Quality CountsIt is always better to buy quality components which will defi-nitely increase performance of the system. How secure is your system? There are many security options for head units nowadays. De-tachable faceplates are the most common option. The front part of the radio comes off rendering the rest of the unit use-less. Yet another security protection pioneered by Kenwood is a flat panel that covers the radio when the ignition key is turned off. Some radios such as Blaupunkt use a smart card that when removed renders the unit useless. Now you are set to drive off into the horizon, with fuel in the tank and good music on the stereo... what more could one ask for?

About Music Therapy-Music is an age-old part of Ayurveda, the holistic science which promotes a happy and healthy lifestyle. From time immemorial, music has been a part of Indian culture. In the Vedas too, music has an important place. The ‘Samveda’ is full of music. The doshas like Vata, Pitta and Kapha can be controlled effectively by Music Therapy. Great composers of Indian classical music have attempted music therapy down the years. Legend has it that classical music maestro Thyagaraja brought a dead person back to life with his composition.

THERAPEUTIC MUSIC THERAPYResearch has shown that music has a profound effect on your body and psyche. In fact, there’s a growing field of health care known as “Music Therapy” which uses music to help cancer patients, help with pain management, to help ward off depression, to promote movement, to calm patients, to ease muscle tension and for many other benefits that music and music therapy can bring. Here is the dope on all you need to know about this therapy.

ABOUT THE WRITER- DR. BHASKAR KHANDEKARHis dedication towards the practical implementation of music since 1993 has established him as India’s First Music Therapist. Dr.Bhaskar has obtained his Masters degree in Violin and had Ph.D in “Music Therapy” from the reputed Indira Kala Sangeet VishvaVidyalaya Khairagarh in 2004. Apart from being a musician he is also a master of Business Administration and holds the diploma for the same in 1984. He is not only a brilliant performing artist but also an eminent educationalist having more than 15 years teaching experience of Indian Classical Music. He is a very peculiar Astrologer and Gems Expert. His clinical approach and guaranteed Musical Remedies through horoscope, distinguish him as an authentic and extraordinary personality in this field.

HEALTH

OCTOBER 16-31, 201040 TULIP

It is believed that music stimulates the pituitary gland, whose secretions affect thenervous system and the flow of blood. It is believed that for healing with music, it is necessary to vibrate the cells of the body, for it is through these vibrations that the diseased person’s consciousness can be changed effectively to promote health. The right kind of music helps one relax and refresh. Even during the course of working, light music improves efficiency. Listening to music helps control negative aspects of our personalities like worry, bias and anger. In addition, it can help cure headache, abdominal pain and tension. Music therapy is one of the most effective ways of controlling emotions, blood pressure and restoring the functioning of the liver Music has frequently been used as a therapeutic agent from the ancient times. Music is a kind of yoga system through

the medium of sonorous sound, which acts upon the human organism and awakens and develops their proper functions to extent of self-realisation. This is the ultimate goal of Hindu Philosophy and religion. Melody is the keynote of Indian Music. The ‘Raga’ is the basis of melody. Various ‘Ragas’, have been found to be very effective in curing many diseases. Music helps in the treatment of actual diseases in the following manners:One obvious use of music is that of a sedative. It can replace the administration of tranquilizers, or at least reduce the dosage of tranquillizers.

Music increases the metabolic activities within the human body. It accelerates the respiration, influences the internal secretion, improves the muscular activities and as such affects the Central Nervous System and Circulatory System of the listener and the performer.

Music Therapy is not the subject of an article only. The entire subject is now in the experimental and implementation stage and data are rapidly accumulating. And the ancient system is gradually being transformed in to a modern science. Since -1993, I am a practitioner of Music Therapy. After, more than five thousands patients, I have observed that - Indian classical ‘Ragas’ have been acclaimed to have healing effects. They stimulate the Brain, ease tension and remove fatigue. The effect of Music Therapy may be immediate or slow, depending upon number of factors like the subject, his mental condition, environment and the type of Music, selected for having the desired effect. Music Therapy largely depends on individual needs and taste. The use of Music as therapy is based on scientific and clinical approach and has to be used with great care and deep study of the nature of illness. We can call it “The study of Individual- Modality Theory”. Before using music as Therapy it must be ascertained which type of music is to be used? The concept of Music Therapy is dependent on correct intonation and right use of the basic elements of music. Such as notes [swara] rhythm, volume, beats and piece of melody. There are countless ‘Ragas’ of course with countless characteristic peculiarities of their own. That is why we cannot establish a particular Rag for a particular disease. Different types of Ragas are applied in each different case. When we use term Music Therapy, we think world -wide system of therapy. Literature of Vocal part of Indian Classical Music is not sufficient in that case.

We should apply the formula of three ‘ Ps ‘ -i] Perfect Time - It includes duration, span, interval and

time to play the music.ii] Perfect Direction - It includes posture and conditions

to listen the music.iii] Perfect Force - It includes Tone, Timber, sound quality

and volume of Meditative Music

We should remember the three categories of patients’ i.e.i] Music Learned,

ii] Music Lovers,

iii] Non-Musical.

HEALTH

OCTOBER 16-31, 201042 TULIP

Select the Meditative Music accordingly. Music helps in the treatment of actual diseases in the following manner:One obvious use of music is that of a sedative. It can replace the administration of tranquilizers, or at least reduce the dosage of tranquilizers. Music increases the metabolic activities within the human body. It accelerates the respiration, influences the internal secretion, improves the muscular activities and as such affects the “Central Nervous System” and Circulatory System of the listener and the performer.

The modern revival of music therapy has not yet sufficiently progressed to indicate its full utility. Several problems immediately invite further research. Under existing conditions, it would seem advisable to broaden the foundation of musical research. Not only to advance the ethical and moral rights of the human being, but also to prevent, if possible, the negative and destructive influences which may be due to ignorance of the laws governing the effects of sound and rhythm. The Indian would regard it as a sacrilege to profane his magic music, and would further insist that such profanation would destroy the healing power of the rites. It is obvious that the psychological effect of the therapeutic music would be greater if the patient understood that the scientific foundation of the procedure had been thoroughly established.

The following are general guidelines to maximize the effectiveness of the music. To wash away stress, try taking a 20-minute “sound bath.” Put some relaxing music on your stereo, and then lie in a comfortable position on a couch or on the floor near the speakers. For a deeper experience, you can wear headphones to focus your attention and to avoid distraction.

Choose music with a slow rhythm - slower than the natural heart beat which is about 72 beats per minute. Music that has repeating or cyclical pattern is found to be effective in most people.

As the music plays, allow it to wash over you, rinsing off the stress from the day. Focus on your breathing, letting it deepen, slow and become regular. Concentrate on the silence between the notes in the music; this keeps you from analyzing the music and makes relaxation more complete.

If you need stimulation after a day of work, go for a faster music rather than slow calming music. When going gets tough, go for a music you are familiar with - such as a childhood favorite or favorite oldies. Familiarity often breeds calmness.

Take walks with your favorite music playing on the walkman. Inhale and exhale in tune with the music. Let the music takes you. This is a great stress reliever by combining exercise (brisk walk), imagery and music.

Listening to the sounds of nature, such as ocean waves or the calm of a deep forest, can reduce stress. Try taking a 15- to 20-minute walk if you’re near the seashore or a quiet patch of woods. If not, you can buy tapes of these sounds in many music stores.I take a great pleasure in introducing this contribution to the Music lovers of India.

I am sure this little knowledge will prove a great help in increasing awareness for Music Therapy. Physiological, Psychological, Physical, Moral, Intellectual, and Spiritual effects of music confirm the supremacy of Indian Music.

This anjana anjani Jodi doesn’t live up to expectation Directed by Siddharth Raj Anand, Anjaana Anjaani is a romantic comedy, where Priyanka (Kiara) is playing a character based in San Francisco, while Ranbir (Akash) is doing the role of a young man residing in ‘The Big Apple, i.e. New York, who is extremely introvert by nature. Ranbir has portrayed the role of Akash perfectly and I assure you that his total persona will remain with you long after you leave the theatre.

Akash has had a failed business, while Kiara has had a failed relationship. Fed up, they both decide to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge. However, both land up on the same bridge at

the same time. One thing leads to another and Akash and Kiara decide to end their lives on 31st December. With 20 days to go, they decide to fulfill their unfinished wishes and thus begin their journey.

Director Siddharth Anand has a fine sense of story and how to present his characters well. ANJAANA ANJAANI is no different. Of course, you don’t take to the film instantly, primarily because it’s not the usual prem kahani. In fact,

there’s hardly any movement in the story in the first hour. It’s a collage of some wonderful, some okay moments, some frankly pathetic ones and some hilarious one liners. The sequence at the bridge and the various attempts at committing suicide stay with you and so does the sequence in the sea,

when they go sailing and decide to swim are shot perfectly. Also, the first hour unwinds at a

leisurely pace and that’s bothersome.

When two of the film industry’s finest actors meet, it puts more pressure on the film. Ranbir is an actor with an

infinite range and his dedication to his work is evident in every film. I have often stated that he is the finest

actor of his generation and the fact comes alive yet again as you watch him donning a new character in

ANJAANA ANJAANI. Priyanka sinks into the role beautifully, so much so that she forgets herself

and starts becoming Kiara. When an actor kills his or her eminence and surrenders completely

to the role is when the film really takes off. Priyanka has this unique quality. Zayed

Khan is likable in a cameo. Tanvi Azmi is wonderful.

On the whole Anjana Anjani is just a one time watch and it does not live up to the hype it had created. The whole story is so much expected that u feel why am I watching the movie at all. Except few good romantic scenes, one or two

comic scenes the whole movie is just ok.

anjaana anjaani thumbs downA weekend to while away and don’t know what to do. Catch up

with a movie in your nearest cinema halls. Before you head for a day of fun, butter popcorns and visual treat to those

tired eyes, read on our verdict on the latest movies.

This Anjana Anjani act well in a poor story line. Thumbs down to this one. I rate this movie 2.5 on 5. Watch it if u have lot of free time.

Now there is the wrong oversized clothing and the right over-sized clothing. The right over-sized clothing is some of this spring’s top trends such as the bubble skirt, which looks fabulous paired with a tighter fitting top and a highwaist belt. Wrong over-sized clothing is just plain wrong: huge knee-reaching t-shirts, baggy pants, you get the point. Make sure you buy clothes that fit you properly.

WEARING RED AND GREEN AT THE SAME TIME

Honestly, you will look like a Christmas tree. Red and green are two of the colors that you absolutely must avoid wearing together. These colors completely clash, so just stay clear. Also, it’s best to stay away from green and red makeup. If you decide to go for a green eyeshadow, don’t put on a brightred lipstick. Instead, opt for a clear gloss or a nude color.

DIRTY SHOES

It would be bad enough if you had shoes that were out of style, or didn’t match with your outfit, but if you have dirty shoes, you’re making a big fashion faux pas.

Make sure to keep your shoes in style, according to your outfit, and most importantly, clean!

SHORT SKIRT AND SHORT TOP

If you’re going to wear a miniskirt, don’t wear a short top with it! It is one of the worst fashion mistakes you could make because you’ll end up

looking trashy. Instead, wear a miniskirt and pair it with a tee that reaches your hip bones. Play it up with a wide belt. If you’re into short tops, just wear jeans and steer away from short skirts.

BULKY SHOES WITH FEMININE DRESS

Whenever I see this, I always have to ask myself: “what was she thinking?” A floral, feminine dress should never be paired with bulky shoes such as thick platforms. This kind of dress deserves a pair of soft, delicate shoes. Anything with a small heel, and even wedges and espadrilles.

TOO MUCH JEWELRY

A pair of embellished earrings; a funky necklace; some bangles; a few rings; maybe a brooch. That is way too much jewelry for you, and for your outfit. So if you don’t want to look like an ornament, keep it simple! A thin, fine necklace and a pair of earrings is enough. Or if you decide for a pair of big, adorned earrings, keep it simple by wearing a

few rings or a bracelet or two with that, but stay away from the necklace. Just know your limits.

Fashion Faux PasTOP 13 FASHION MISTAKES

WEARING FASHION THAT DOESN’T SUIT YOU

If miniskirts are in, and you don’t have the greatest legs, that’s fine! You don’t have to abide by each and every single

fashion trend that comes out. If something that suit your body type, it’s better to stay away from it. After all, most of us aren’t models and a lot of the fashion trends that spring up don’t suit everybody, so be careful what you choose.

MORE THAN ONE PATTERN

If you have flowers on your shirt, don’t wear plaid pants, or the other way around. Try to stick with one pattern in your outfit. A pair of plaid pants with a solid colored top, or a floral shirt with a pair of jeans. Don’t crowd your outfit with patterns. Keep it sweet and simple.

TIGHTS ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE

As I’ve mentioned before, not all fashion trends work for everyone. Some people should stay away from certain trends. Trends like tights for

example. You know they stick to your skin and show off your legs, so if you don’t have shapely legs, don’t wear them please. I know they’re in, but if they make you look bad, avoid them I see so many women wearing tights with over-sized shirts,it absolutely amazes me. But try to avoid this very

common mistake for your own good.

PANTY LINES

Need I say more? If you’re going to wear thin, clingy, or even white pants, be aware of it and don’t walk out with embarrassing panty lines, but opt for a thong.

AN ORANGE TAN

Let’s face it: you know that it’s orange,

you just don’t want to admit it. Stay away from cheap self-tanners because they will bring you nothing but trouble. Instead, shell out some money for a better product such as Estee Lauder sunless and make sure you always exfoliate before applying self-tanner.

SNEAKERS WITH EVERYTHING

Sure, we all want to be comfortable in our shoes, but it’s not wise to always wear sneakers with everything from skirts, to jeans, to Capris. A lot of people like to wear sneakers with a jean skirt, and that’s completely fine, as long as you don’t do it all the time. It’s a comfy, sporty look, but you can make it classy and sexy.

Instead, wear a pair of wedges or high heels. Don’t always pair your jeans with sneakers: it’s boring, and it’s tasteless. Spice up your outfit with a pair of hot stilettos.

DON’T INDULGE

That means don’t overdo sparkles, sequins, or any festive looking articles of clothing.

While it’s fun to play with different colours, fabrics, and styles, keep it simple is very important. Wearing too much of a good thing can turn into a fashion disaster. If you’re going to wear a top that has sequins on it, keep it simple everywhere else and don’t embellish your outfit even more.

FACIALS

While it’s not clear if they actually work, facials tend to focus on two things: relaxing or acne-fighting. Most treatments involve a cleansing of the skin, followed by an extraction of blackheads and whiteheads, and finished off by a mask or, in more severe cases, a chemical peel of glycolic acid to remove the top layer of the epidermis. However, facials can get creative. Get ready to flex your face at some of the weirdest.

CHOCOLATE AND AVOCADO FACIALDark chocolate facial masks have been used since the days of Cleopatra. In the past few years, there has been a steady revival of interest in their benefits. Chocolate facials are rich, exotic face packs that include raw cacao powder and other beneficial ingredients. The nutritional content of raw chocolate powder is astounding. Avocado helps deep clean and exfoliate dead skin cells. It’s also a natural detoxifier and helps to removes bacteria.

SPERM FACIALPoop is not the only weird thing used for facials. At some spas you can get sperm facials for $250! Sperm contains spermine, a substance that has antioxidants properties and is supposed to help with acne too. And now a Norwegian company called Bioforskning is synthesizing and adding it to their products as well.

AZUKI MICROGRAINS FACIALAzuki Micrograins and Brown Sugar Facial Soap from Chidoriya are made completely of azuki red bean micrograins and, you guessed it, organic brown sugar. According to Chidoriya, the Japanese have used the azuki red bean for ages in face wash and for good reason - it works to dissolve any oils that clog your pores. As for the brown sugar, well, it’s simple - the natural quality and texture of this typical cookie ingredient smoothes skin texture. The combination of the two, which is made through a month-long aging and curing process, makes for a hypoallergenic, fragrance and preservative-free face wash bar that Chidoriya says lasts twice as long as most bar soaps. Plus, it lacks alkali, a skin irritant present in many other washes. So, just one last time, skip that boring old facial and try the sugar.

TANGERINE FACIALThe Tangerine facial not only removes fine remove makeup but also brightens, heals and retexturizes skin. Four cups of tangerine juice, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon are added to form a smooth paste and then applied all over the body for an hour. It’s widely followed by Korean actresses to keep their skin glowing and free from freckles.

BEAUTYNIGHTINGALE DROPPING FACIALYes, you’re read that right. Apparently, a spa in New York offers a Geisha facial ($180) that is supposed to soften and brighten skin. And one of the ingredients used in these facials is nightingale poop, which contains natural enzymes and guanine that cleanse skin and give it a pearly glow. In earlier times, this was used as makeup. Today, this weird facial treatment is available in London salons for £135. Expensive as it is, you will leave the salon with a smooth and clean feeling that is also odor-less. The nightingale droppings have effective enzyme guanine which heals your skin and bleaches it at the same time. Even monks have taken advantage of this for their exposed scalps.

GRAPEFRUIT AND PARSLEY FACIALThis facial is known to heal acne and pus filled pimples, but still isn’t the combination weird. Mix 3 tablespoons of very fine oatmeal with two tablespoons of chopped parsley in a bowl and add juice from half of a large grapefruit until you have a soft paste. Let the mixture rest 5 minutes. Spread soft mixture over your face and let dry for approximately 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.

SNAIL SLIME FACIALSome companies are adding purified snail slime to their products. Snail slime contains allantoin, a substance that regenerates snail shells when they get damaged. When applied on the skin, it is said to have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. In addition, it is supposed to make skin brighter, softer and to reduce the appearance of scars.

CAVIAR FACIALCaviar does not only go well with sandwiches and ice creams. Yes, you can also apply it on your face. Caviar is a delicacy made from salted and processed fish eggs. It was common in Russian feasts and was the favorite of czars. Today, it has found a new and entertaining use. In many spas in America, caviar facials are in demand. This treatment costs around $185 and lasts for 90 minutes. They use frozen and dried caviar from Switzerland. According to skin specialists, this kind of face lift can fight aging, lessen wrinkles and make you look younger.

PLACENTA FACIALPlacenta is the organ present in mammals that connects the mother to the fetus. It protects and feeds the fetus and also allows fetal waste to be disposed. And now, purified human and cow placenta is used in several skincare products. Placenta contains vitamins, minerals and proteins that have conditioning and antioxidants properties, hydrating skin and improving its elasticity.

DEAD SEA SALT FACIAL Did you know that Cleopatra seduced Julius Caesar and Mark Anthony? She did it by flashing her healthy glowing skin. Her secret lies in using Dead Sea salt. This practice may be considered weird today since many people opt to use facial creams and wrinkle-reducing ointments. However, this cleansing and detoxifying substance has been used throughout the ages. Dead Sea salt lies at around 400 meters below sea level and belongs to the Syrian and East African Rift Valley. Containing more minerals than ordinary sea salt, it can get rid of stress, slow the aging process, and strengthen nails and bones.

ART

“Art is not about paintings and sculptures alone; art is not about expertise and talent alone either. It ’s about an expression so skilfully deployed that it takes the viewer ’s breath away. Art is a passion”

Hearing her speak about art is an experience by itself. After establishing Art Inc., a multifaceted art consultancy, Renu Rana went on to set up an academy of sculpture in Delhi. Her love for art shows no signs of waning. She had brought an art show to Hyderabad a couple of months ago which was significantly appreciated. Encouraged by the response, she brings yet another art exhibition to Hyderabad.

Are you excited or anxious about the forthcoming exhibition?“It’s a mixed reaction, honestly. This once Im getting exclusive works of senior artists and I’m anxious to see the reaction of the art lovers of Hyderabad. For fear of stagnation, I keep experimenting with new artists, novel mediums and unique ways of exhibiting the outstanding works that I select. These experiments are exciting, but there is always insecurity about its success. So, yeah! Excited and anxious at the same time”

How is it different from the last “experiment”, if I may use

the term?“Animals mostly are part of the background or part of the composition, but the works I last displayed had just beasts as the protagonists. It was a bold step, with all the makings of a flop show, but it turned out to be such a surprise success! The upcoming exhibition is titled “Zest & Zen”, a collection of some cheerful and some peaceful works of Sidharth, Niren Sengupta, Nupur Kundu, Asit Patnaik, to name a few. It was difficult to form a common thread between so vastly different themes. It was a curator’s nightmare.”

What prods you to take up these kinds of challenges?“The need to collect eclectic works, radical display and the attached excitement, anxiety spur me to do things differently. There are regular exhibitions at various art galleries, so exhibitions that I curate have to be diverse and different.”

Why do you choose a star hotel instead of a regular gallery?“You say this because the last exhibition was at The Kakatiya, and the forthcoming one at the Taj Krishna. But these are the organizations that concur with my professional agenda and offer to host my exhibitions; UB Group as always been our beverage partner. Since my show is not regular, my venue is not regular either. I strive to be different.”So we are waiting to see her “differently” curated exhibition at the end of this month and see how she soars with her radical ideas. And here’s wishing her all the best!

IPHONE 4

The apple has once again has recreated history by introducing the 4th generation I phone with all the breakthrough technology you can find in this particular model by apple. The retina display is

more enhanced than the previous models-its more clearer, crisp and sharp that the human eye. It cannot distinguish individual pixels as the Retina Display makes the display to go as far as 326 pixels per inch. You should know that the maximum pixels our eyes can see is only 320 pixels per inch (12 inch away from our eyes) so, by increasing it to plus 6 you will barely see a pixilated icon on your iPhone 4 now.

If you’ve been paying attention with the screen-res of your phones lately, the normal res is 480 x 320. What Apple just did to the iPhone 4, is it doubled its screen capacity. Obviously, the benefits will be amazing as well. This just means that it now has the ability to play games that’s beyond the usual resolution and it still can render the graphics on a crystal clear display. Obviously, it can now play 720p HD vids at ease.

The iPhone 4 camera shoots gorgeous 5-megapixel photos and stunning HD video. And with its advanced backside illumination sensor, it captures beautiful images even in low-light settings. The built-in LED flash does double duty. When you’re taking pictures, it works as a flash. When you’re shooting video it can stay on to light up the scene. On the front of iPhone 4, the built-in camera is perfect for making Face Time calls and shooting self-portraits.

The prediction before that it’ll have a front-facing camera as well is very real. Some of the notable features are, it has a 5mp rear cam with 5x digital zoom capability. You can now shoot 720p @ 30 frame rate recording and it has new applications — the iMovie and Facetime!

Basically, iMovie is iPhone 4’s new way to edit video with just a tap. And we’re talking about full home video here, not those little clips. Price will cost you 4.99 USD, though.

For the front camera, we have Facetime. This is the new way how iPhone 4 will meld the rear camera preview and your front-facing camera preview in your main display. It will also add the ability for you to shoot pics on landscape or portrait.

Its the “Thinnest smartphone in the world”. How thin? Basically, it’s now 24% thinner than the iPhone 3GS. 4.5×2.31×0.37 inches to be exact. Although it gained a bit of its weight than its predecessor, pumping it to 137 grams. You’ll also notice that the steel rim at the side of the iPhone is now its new antenna. Somehow, this raises some concern for others to think that this design might mitigate the signal it receives during calls.Detail graphic quality here on your smartphone.
