Indian government has several novel initiatives; but still it is unable to meet the

socioeconomic needs of 1.2 plus billion population. The development thus far in

India is less by government and more by people. The commitment of the people

to raise educated sons and daughters against all odds has brought forth the

development. Civil societies has played major role in Indian development. The

motive of this initiative is to enhance their capacities with Israeli social

techniques.

A few opportunities to mention are

- Corruption

- Pizza reaches home faster than ambulance and police

- 850million mobile users but still half of them don’t have working toilet

- 80 million kids don’t graduate primary school

- Elderly receive Old Age Pension of 4-8 dollars per month

- 800 million earn less than 2 to 3 dollar a day

This initiative would work with professionals, nonprofits, social entrepreneurs,

and CSR initiatives, pertinently with those who would like to contribute to the

development of their once homeland

How? We follow three steps process:

Step I: Promoting partnership – The tasks

1. Catalogue the basket of supplies

2. Identify partners

3. Introduce the social development products

4. If interested to partner with, connect service providers and potential users

5. Facilitate relation building

Step II:

Facilitate knowledge sharing and learning through person time volunteeringand professional volunteering

Step III: Invite investment and promote giving

The sectors that need immediate attention are Education and Children, Health

and Elderly care, Agriculture and Environment, Micro-enterprises and Youth at

risk.



The First fruit of this Initiative is: Connecting Israeli Social Model and VisionTrust

India

The Israeli Social Model has a novel technique to teach mathematics to primary

and high school students which has the potential to reduce the school dropout

rate.

The Vision Trust India implement after school learning centers to help kids of low

income families with their education.

India-Israel-Initiative has established initial connection of both the organization

which we hope would develop further and eventually would end up in enhanced

mathematics learning abilities among the children supported by Vision Trust India
