3 TERMINOLOGY

For the purpose of this standard followingdefinitions shall apply.

3.1 Body - The body of the machine is made out ofMS sheet, angles and channels.

3.2 Dried Seed - This is fuzzy seed, which isreceived from preheating machine.

3.3 Fuzzy Seed - The cotton seed left over afterseparation of lint from seed cotton (KAPAS) byginning operation. The cotton seed containsbollworm-affected seed, cut seed, inert matter, trash, oversize and undersize seed, which is not freeflowing.

3.4 Mobile Charging Machine - The mobilecharging machine with seed container mounted onrails moving to and fro raised platform ofstructuralsteel for receiving and discharging of preheatedfuzzy seeds. The mobile charging machine has builtin conveying, weighing, and agitating anddistribution system. Mild steel material body withwheel made ofmild steel with horizontal screw. Thismachine receives fuzzy seed from preheating machineand weighs the seed and transfer the seed todelinting machine. The weighing system ofelectronicload cell with LED display is fixed.

3.5 Screw Conveying System - This operation isprovided for transferring the fuzzy seed, which istemporarily held in the container to the delintingmachine. This screw is rotated by providing thepower through the motor of standard make, whichrotate the screw. The screw conveyor is projectedoutward to discharge the seed into delinting machine.

3.6 Weighing System - This system is providedfor weighing the fuzzy seed, which is transferred tothe delinting machine so as to know about the gasrequirement, which is required for delinting of theseed. This machine is provided with four eccentricloadcell and sensor or electro-mechanical weighingbalance with LED display.

4 MATERIALS

The material of construction of mobile chargingmachine shall be given in the references. The materialmay conform to the relevant Indian Standard inTable I.
