Base Titanium is the operator of Kenya’s first large-scale mining project, the Kwale Mine. Minerals are exported through the company’s shiploading facility in Likoni.
Base Titanium places a strong emphasis on building relationships with the communities in which it operates and is committed to establishing a balanced flow of mutual benefits.
As part of its community development programme Base is offering 170 Scholarship Opportunities for Kwale County and Likoni Sub-County students joining university and any other recognised tertiary institutions beginning September 2021.
All eligible students must have attained the following in their KCSE 2020 examinations: • For Undergraduate - Grade C+ or above; • For Diploma - Grade C and above, • For Certificate - Grade D+ and above. They must also have attended a public secondary school, been selected to attend a recognised and registered University / College, other tertiary or middle level institutions in Kenya and meet the basic minimum entry requirements for the chosen course.
Additionally, applicants must provide a copy of a KCSE result slip certified by their former Principal or nearest local education office.

Wanafunzi wote wanaoomba msaada huu lazima watimize yafuatayo: • Waliochaguliwa kujiunga na vyuo vikuu lazima wawe wamepata alama ya C+ au
zaidi, • Kwa wale wa kiwango cha shahada, C au zaidi, • Kwa wale wa kiwango cha astashahada, D+ au zaidi. Waliochaguoliwa kujiunga kusoma fani nyengine au vyuo vyengine vya kati sharti wawe wamepita na viwango vinavyokubaliwa na serikali katika fani husika. Lazima wawe walisomea katika shule za upili za umma na pia wawe walichaguliwa kuingia vyuo vinavyotambuliwa na kusajiliwa nchini Kenya.
