What are Skillshops?The Skillshops program offers free workshops, or mini courses that provide real-life solutions to common student issues. The primary goals of these Skillshops are to:
1. Assist students in their academic, personal, career, cultural, social and personal development2. Encourage holistic development3. Encourage learning outside the classroom4. Assist students with making a strong connection to Valencia College

Green Bag CampaignFor Academic & Emotional Fitness
The Green Bag Campaign is a Counselor-led initiative designed to improve students’ ability to employ academic success skills & emotional coping strategies. Counselors will host information tables, classroom presentations, Skillshops and other events designed to help students “fill their bag” with techniques and strategies to build their academic & emotional fitness levels. Look for the green bag icon.
