WP 2: Breach formation

The Hungarian party is going to contribute:

•Investigation and report of dike failures in the past 200 years in the Carpathian basin (statistical datas of breach mechanism, lenght, etc.)

•Contribution and expertise on the earlier breaches e.g. Tarpa breaches in 2001.

WP 3: Flood propagation:

The Hungarian party is going to contribute:

•Propagation of inundation in protected flood plain basin as a consequence of levee failure,

•Expertise on the earlier inundations e.g. Tarpa breaches in 2001.

Inundations due to the levee breaches in the Upper-Tisa basin in the vicinity of the Ukr-Hun border
