Certification Ceremony of Library Staff and Students..

Introduction

District Library, Kanpur organized a certification ceremony for their library staff

and students. These certificates were given to the library staff who successfully

completed a digital course ‘Intel Easy Step’ at Kanpur Public Library and winners

of ‘Digital Painting Workshop’ which was held on 26th January 2014 in the District

Library.

The Ceremony was started with welcoming the guests of honor :-Mr Komal Yadav

- DIOS Kanpur district, Mr Devendra Singh Bhadauria – Programme Head Bill &

Melinda Libraries in India, Mrs Sharda Tiwari – Librarian District Library, Kanpur

and our audience.

After the welcome session, Mrs Sharda Tiwari delivered an introductory speech

about District library and its benefits. She also stated that Kanpur Public Library

(Resources Center) has changed the view of people about District Libraries.

Later certificates and trophies were distributed by the guests.A total of 20

members, including library staff were certified by intel for our ‘Intel Easy Step’

course. Following are the some participants of our ‘Intel Easy Step’ course.

‘Digital Painting Compeation’ was held on 26th january 2014 at District library,

Kanpur. 80 students from different schools of kanpur participated in this

competition out of which 10 students got trophies and certificates.

After Mr Bhadauria’s motivational and informative speech Mr Komal Yadav

expressed his views about the programme and changed avatar of library.

Mr yadav promised to support the District Library to his fullest and requested the

audience to take part in library activites and encourage other to join the library as

well.

Feedbacks

Their were many feedbacks from our library members and winners but the most

important feedback was given by our guest of honour with lots of appreciation,

complements and goodwills for future.
