A very warm welcome to our first Newsflash of 2016 and a particular welcome to all of our new KBBG members. Following the Christmas and New Year break, we have been straight back into things with the preparations of our stand at kbb Birmingham, which promises to be one of the most eagerly anticipated kitchen and bathroom exhibitions in the UK for many years. Some of you will perhaps remember the old Interbuild and Tradex shows, and it is fair to say that more recent KBB exhibitions have been a little disappointing in comparison. However this year’s event is shaping up to be a memorable one, with the organizers adding an additional 30 per cent space to accommodate all of the exhibitors. Remember that the kbb Birmingham is free to attend for retailers, so make sure that you

have registered for your tickets. For more information please visit www.kbb.co.uk. Preparations are also well underway for our third Annual KBBG Members’ Meeting. Make sure that you have Monday, 13th June saved in your diary as you would not want to miss this event, which promises to be our most thrilling yet.Based upon the feedback received from members, we continue to grow and develop our list of KBBG suppliers, and we are pleased to announce De Dietrich appliances and Luminess lighting are now available to members, supported with exclusive buying conditions.

We are pleased to confirm that we are exhibiting again at the upcoming kbb Birmingham event, from 6th to 9th March. You will find us in hall 18, stand J115; our stand is almost double the size from two years ago. This year we are partnering with Störmer Küchen, Jetstone worktops and Miele appliances, and together with Störmer have designed a very innovative kitchen display, and we look

forward to getting your reaction. As in 2014, we will have plenty of seating on the stand, so please come and join us for a tea or coffee. Marcel, Louisa, Lyn and I will be available throughout the four days of the show, as well as Dave and Bodie from Störmer, who will also be on hand to speak to members. Our suppliers are supporting us with some amazing show offers, so please take our advice and do

not commit any new showroom displays before you have seen what our suppliers are offering. Genuinely, these are the best offers we have ever seen. Due to the size of the show this year, I strongly recommend that you plan your visit, otherwise you may find yourself running out of both time and stamina! Top of your ‘must see’ list needs to be our stand in Hall 18.

Following our very successful Members’ Meeting last year at Miele, Abingdon, we are very excited to announce the date of this year’s event as Monday, 13th June.

We will be making further announcements a bit nearer the time, however I can say that this year’s venue is very conveniently located near south west London and is accessible from all the main transport routes. We wanted to come up with something a little different, interesting and fun; and we think we have definitely achieved all three.Our Annual Members’ Meeting gives all KBBG members the opportunity to learn more about the group and its suppliers, and is your chance to have a say in future developments. In addition, it is, of course, a great opportunity to meet other like-minded

retailers in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. The KBBG is your buying group, so make sure that you get your voice heard.
