INTRODUCTION
YOLO is a team of energetic professionals with the aim of contributing positively towards the
society, while focusing on the core values of professionalism, quality and innovation. YOLO is
the first ever E platform for youth and young professionals learning and development. We
believe in building talent pools from Colleges to Universities and support in their transition
and readiness for entering in the corporate world. YOLO portal is a dynamic platform as it
helps youth to unleash their potential and has been designed with the positive intention to
provide our youth with a number of opportunities from e- Career Counseling, e-Mentoring,
Fit for Future-online Testing, gender sensitization, Student Exam Preparation to first ever Youth
e- Magazine in Pakistan (You only Live Once- Make the right choices). YOLO e-mag is a
fortnightly youth e-magazine, offering a signature mix of articles on current affairs, leaf from
history, entertainment, social issues, gems of society, valley of fire, health and Food, F9 Corner,
sports and Lifestyle, sexual harassment and gender sensitization. The current issue marks our
15th edition and has garnered one Million plus subscribers with over 2 M visitors so far.
Since our launch in May 2017 we have experienced an ever increasing spike in subscriptions and
daily visits. In order to build awareness of our E-mag, we have now the print version also to
increase our market reach and visibility.
Our purpose is to empower the youth by creating knowledge transferring platforms to harness
their skills and to equip them for future professional challenges in a competitive environment.
Therefore, we have held four successful Fit for Future Conferences at NUST University
Islamabad, QAU Islamabad, AJK University and Degree colleges in Rawlakot, Kashmir
which provided young generation with the opportunity to listen and interact with local and
international business professionals. These knowledge transferring conferences have been
illustrated in the e-mag to reach out to maximum number of young people with the purpose of
educating and building an online e-knowledge management repository of these lectures and
seminars. Moreover, we have also launched our Mentoring program in NUST in May
2018. YOLO aims at introducing the young individuals to the first ever e- Mentoring program
platform connecting them to YOLO mentors a group of seasoned professionals from Corporate,
Government and Private Sector through Skype sessions and webinars on monthly basis. It is time
that our corporate leaders and professionals start sharing their knowledge and experience with
our youth and society. The selection criteria’s at any level from universities to entry level jobs
are very stringent and only the best of the best will survive and grow with the right help and
focused development path.
YOLO is an ideal youth platform for promoting Pro-Pakistan narratives; over one
million subscribers are engaged twice a month with our content. Present day environment
demands a proactive approach to engage youth in constructive activities and sensitize them
against the fall out of radicalization and terrorism. At the same time there is a dire need to
counter narratives that are against our ideology, Integrity and security.
In order to sustain and promote this particular model of youth development we would
request you to extend support by sponsoring our e-mag and fit for future conferences/Seminars.
Your support would help us in sustaining our model and accomplishing our plan to develop, train
and facilitate youth in every walk of life. I shall appreciate if I am given the opportunity to
elaborate our aims and objectives besides sharing our ideas on how to collaborate. A meeting in
person would provide us a better opportunity to share our perspective on how to engage the
Pakistani youth in bringing about a constructive change. We consider the Pakistani youth the
“Agents of change” with a great deal of potential to lead Pakistan in a new era of peace and
progress.
YOLO’s VISION & MISSION

OUR AMBITION
YOLO (You Only Live Once) is the first fortnightly e-magazine in Pakistan focusing two key
challenges that approx. 120 million Pakistani youth is facing in these times i.e.
1. Exposure to extremism, violence, abuse, drugs, social & political unrest etc. leading to lack of
patience and radical behavior.
2. Insufficient Talent Building Framework and gaps between academia and professional & social
life.
YOLO took the initiative and has two pronged approach to tackle above challenges.
Firstly, to provide a balanced platform in the shape of E-Magazine to engage youth via
entertainment, healthy discussion, generate awareness on sensitive topics like Harassment, cyber
bulling, and gender sensitization under ROKO TOKO and how to deal with. Being progressive
Muslims we have kept a balanced approach to communicate sensitive topics, especially
generating healthy debates on de radicalization by adopting more moderate views. Ultimate
objective is to steer positive behavior and approach towards life.
On the other hand YOLO is determined to bridge gap between academia and professional &
social life by offering Talent Architecture manifesto e.g. Coaching, Mentoring and bespoke
Counselling programs, on line training’s, Webinars , Learner’s profile a unique and evolving
platform for students. “Fit for Future” is one of our robust Program focusing on Managing Self
and Managing Others; prerequisite for not only to move into professional but also for personal
life.
We live in a very complex society, hence our aim is to motivate the YOLO generation to become
the ‘problem-solvers’ of tomorrow. Vision of our country lies in the hands of our youth and we
believe it’s our obligation to provide youth with the right opportunity at the right time. We want
YOLO to play a vital role in helping them to distinguish between right and wrong & to exercise
their talent for the best of our country’s future.
We have embarked upon a journey to bridge the ever growing gap between the students,
educational institutions and MNC’s by introducing the first ever E-Youth platform focusing on
Talent development architecture and empowering youth through technology from schools,
Colleges to Universities complimented by the first ever Youth e- Magazine in Pakistan (You
only Live Once- Make the right choices). YOLO portal is an eventful journey to embark on a
platform aimed at providing a new impetus to students to explore various learning stages in order
to achieve their ambitions by making the right choices.
