Platform where citizens and organisations can upload their materials from the past, related to the local community

Materials: Pictures,Documents and magazines,MoviesPosterspictures from objects (small musea, collectors)

-Your own archive as cultural house: pictures, posters, magazines….

- The archive from civil society associations, from schools, churches, sportsgroups,

- family pictures from anyone related to your community…

How to implement:

- A local organisation (cultural house, heritage group, municipality,….) takes the responsibility for the local “Heuritage site”.- This local administrator can allow everyone (individuals) to upload from anywhere materials - The local administrator has control over what’s uploaded (accept or reject)

Project working:

Everywhere new projects are going on:- on the memory of a local area, of a street, … - recording living memory from senior citizens…- (50..75..100st anniversary of a local amateur association or folkloristic group…

Project working:

At the end of those projects the result is mostly a nice book, local website…

The platform Heuritage offers a space to put those results on and to share it with other communities in Europe.

What’s already on Heuritage:

-10 local sites in 8 countries (Grundvig partners)

- Several languages (some to be verified for correct internet language)

Finances- Development site already paid. (arr. 25.000 euro)- To install a new local site, price related to international quotation of the country: from 100 to 1000 euro. (solidarity)
