Abstract: -
Résumé: -
Remarks: Waterways present major obstacles to the planner of transport infrasttucture. As transportation and other
infrastructure networks grow, it is often water which obstructs the final link in the chain. The aim of this book
is to help those who commission new infrastructure to appriciate immeresed tunnels - a type of construction
which is widley used today, but not so widely understood and which can present an attractive alternative to
either bridge crossings or bored tunnels.
