Name Badges ATTENDEE namebadges are required for entry into workshops, lunches, and the exhibit area.
GUESTS will be admitted to the Exhibit Hall, Hospitality, the Awards Ceremony/Dinner, and pre-paid lunches.
EXHIBITORS will be admitted to the Exhibit Hall, Hospitality, the Awards Ceremony/Dinner, and lunches Wednesday-Friday; they are not permitted to participate in workshops except by special arrangement.
EXHIBIT-ONLY badgeholders will be admitted to the Exhibit Hall only.
FIREARMS & AMMUNITION Under the provisions of H.R. 218, the Federal Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act, police officers are authorized to carry firearms in all states.
If you leave your weapon in your hotel or residence hall room at any time, please lock
it in a gun safe or lockbox. The housekeeping staff will not enter your room if a firearm is visible.

Certificates Course Certificates: issued at the end of each course; an informal graduation will take place on Friday at the Awards Ceremony.
Conference Certificate of Attendance: Complete the Certificate of Attendance Application Form found on page 18 and have it initialed by the instructor of each workshop you attend.
You must attend a minimum of two workshops on Thursday and two on Friday in order to be eligible for a certificate, unless you are attending an all-day session or the PESC.
If you do not obtain an instructor’s initials, you will not get credit for attending, even if you pre-registered or checked in via the app. Return the application to the Command Post or to the IPMBA office within two weeks of the conference.
Certificates will be mailed within eight weeks of the end of the conference.
Evaluation Forms Evaluation forms will be distributed at each course and workshop. Please answer the questions completely and honestly.
Evaluation forms may be dropped in the box at the Command Post or given to any member of the IPMBA Board or staff.
Evaluations may also be completed via the IPMBA 2018 App.
Surveys The IPMBA 2018 Conference Survey will be available via the IPMBA 2018 App (click on the Conference Survey icon) and via email following the conference. Please take a few moments to complete it and help us continue to serve you well.

Bike Shipping If you shipped your bike to Saint Louis BWorks, it will be brought to Bike Check. When you depart, leave your bike in the Bike Check, tagged with your name, contact information, and shipping address. DO NOT leave personal items. The bikes will be delivered to the shop for return shipping. If you are shipping your own bike, you will have to disassemble it, box it, and arrange pick-up by a shipper.

Airport Transportation The TSA recommends passengers arrive 90 minutes early. It is a 20 minute drive to the airport. Allow extra time to check your firearm or your bicycle. An airport departure schedule will be posted at Command Post and emailed to those that have registered for shuttle service. Shuttles will depart from WashU approximately two hours prior to the flight departure time.

S Parking If you purchased a parking pass, it will be distributed at registration. If you did not, you must park in the Danforth University Center Garage and pay the hourly/daily rate.
Residence Hall Residents & Commuters with Pre-Paid Passes: Complete the dashboard tag and return it to the student working check-in. Exit the garage and continue across Forsyth Blvd. onto Wallace Drive. The Wallace Garage is on the right at the bottom of the hill. Park on the top level. Display the top of your dashboard tag each day. Overnight parking is for on-campus residents only.
Commuter Parking without Pre-Paid Passes (Danforth University Center): Park in the Danforth University Center Garage and pay the daily rate of $9 (cash or credit) for each day you park on campus. No overnight parking.
Campus Circulator: The Campus Circulator provides complimentary transportation around the Danforth Campus on weekdays from 7:40am-10:00pm and weekends from 12:00pm-10:00pm.

Overcoming Obstacles Matters! IPMBA Competition
South 40 Bear’s Den Patio The IPMBA Competition is open to all registered participants.
Public Safety Category (Police, EMS, Security): Individuals or teams of four. Mixed teams (e.g., two police, one EMS, and one security) are permitted. Each team member must register and sign the waiver. If all of your team members have not registered by 9am on Friday, you will ride as an individual only. You will NOT be assigned to a team.
Medals will be awarded to the top three teams and the top two winners in the following age groups: Male under 30, Male 30-39, Male 40-49, Male 50+, Female under 30, Female 30+.
Open Category (vendors, guest presenters, and guests): Individuals. Medals will be awarded to the top three riders. E-Bike Category (public safety, vendors, guest presenters, and guests): Individuals. Medals will be awarded to the top three riders. Riders may compete on a conventional bike in their respective category and/or on an e-Bike.
