International Education Photo Contest OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES, TERMS,

AND CONDITIONS

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

The International Education Photo Contest photo and video contest is sponsoredby Bentley University (Sponsor). This contest is governed by these official rules(Official Rules). By participating in the contest, each entrant agrees to abide by

these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that theresults of the contest, as determined by Sponsor and its agents, are final in allrespects. The contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulationsand is void where prohibited by law.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associatedwith, Facebook or Visa. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding thepromotion will be directed to Sponsor.

ELIGIBILITYThe Contest is open to legal residents of their respective countries where notprohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry,who are members of the Bentley University Community (students, staff, or facultywho have Internet access and a valid account on Facebook. Sponsor has the right toverify the eligibility of each entrant and determine his or her status as a member ofthe Bentley Community.

CONTEST PERIODThe Contest begins at 8:30 AM EST on Monday, October 28, 2013 and ends at 4:30

PM EST on Friday, November 8, 2013. (ContestPeriod). All entries (submissions)must be posted before or during that submission period. Sponsor reserves the rightto extend or shorten the contest at their sole discretion.

HOW TO ENTEREnter the Contest by emailing a photo to Christine Hollenhorst([email protected]) along with your name and the city and country wherethe photo was taken.

One post per user. The photo must be taken by the person submitting the photo.

WINNER SELECTIONAll eligible entries received during the Submission Period will be posted in aFacebook photo album on Monday, November 11. The ten photos which get themost likes will be posted in the Student Center November 11-18. The top ten photoswill be evaluated by a Selection Committee, made up of representatives fromBentley University Cronin Office of International Education, English and MediaStudies Department, and a select student panel.

The winners will be announced on Friday, November 22, 2013 via BentleyUniversity social media channels and email. Winners must claim their prizes in theCronin Office of International Education. By entering the contest, entrant is grantingSponsor permission to contact him or her to determine eligibility.

Each entrant is responsible for monitoring Bentley University social media accountsand his/her email for prize notification or other communications related to thisContest. If a potential prizewinner cannot be reached by Sponsor within fifteen (15)days, using the contact information provided at the time of entry, or if the prize isreturned as undeliverable, that potential prizewinner shall forfeit the prize. If apotential winner fails to comply with these official rules, that potential winner willbe disqualified. Prizes may not be awarded if an insufficient number of eligibleentries are received.

PRIZES:

Four (4) prizes will be awarded to four (4) individuals, one each for the followingcategories:

1) 1stplace photo2) 2nd place photo3) 3rd place photo4) Facebook Fan Favorite (determined by the most number of Facebook likes in

the contest)

Each winner will receive a Visa gift card, usable where ever Visa gift cards areaccepted. The prize values are as follows:

1) 1stplace photo - $100 Visa gift card2) 2nd place photo- $50 Visa gift card3) 3rd place photo- $25 Visa gift card4) Facebook Fan Favorite (determined by the most number of Facebook likes in

the contest) - $100 Visa gift card

Terms and conditions may apply. Incidental expenses and all other costs andexpenses which are not specifically listed as part of a prize in these Official Rulesand which may be associated with entrance into the contest, contest award,acceptance, receipt and use of all or any portion of the awarded prize are solely the

responsibility of the respective prize winner. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCALTAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THERESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONSPrize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, andrepresentatives are not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the

offer or administration of the Contest, including, but not limited to, errors in anyprinting or posting or these Official Rules, the selection and announcement of anywinner, or the distribution of any prize. Any attempt to damage the content oroperation of this Contest is unlawful and subject to possible legal action by Sponsor.

Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, suspend or amend the Contest, withoutnotice, and for any reason, including, without limitation, if Sponsor determines thatthe Contest cannot be conducted as planned or should a virus, bug, tampering orunauthorized intervention, technical failure or other cause beyond Sponsorscontrol corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper play of theContest. In the event any tampering or unauthorized intervention may haveoccurred, Sponsor reserves the right to void suspect entries at issue.

Sponsor and its respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, agents, andrepresentatives, and any telephone network or service providers, are notresponsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any

human error, technical malfunction, lost or delayed data transmission, omission,interruption, deletion, line failure or malfunction of any telephone network,computer equipment or software, the inability to access any website or onlineservice or any other error, human or otherwise.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASEAND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE AND SUBSIDIARYCOMPANIES, THE FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, TWITER, AND VINE PLATFORMS,ADMINISTRATORS, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONAL AGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR

RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES ANDAGENTS FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING INWHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM THAT ENTRANTSPARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANYPRIZE THAT MAY BE WON. SPONSOR AND ITS PARENT, AFFILIATE ANDSUBSIDIARY COMPANIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE. SPONSORAND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTIONALAGENCIES, AND ALL THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES,REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO ANYCOMPUTER SYSTEM RESULTING FROM ACCESS TO OR THE DOWNLOAD OF

INFORMATION OR MATERIALS CONNECTED WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES.

PUBLICITYBy participating, each entrant grants Sponsor permission to use his/her name,likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additionalconsideration, except where prohibited by law.
