    The International Institute designs and administers exchange programs or oreign governments,

    international and non-governmental organizations, and groups. Programs may include orientations,

    meetings, workshops, seminars, and site visits. Our goal is to oer participants the opportunity to

    interact and share best practices with their counterparts.

    International Visitor LeadershipProgram

    The International Institute administers the InternationalVisitor Leadership Program as one o seven national programagencies designated by the U.S. Department o State. Wedesign short-term visits or current and uture leaders romaround the world to exchange ideas and share best practices

    with their U.S. counterparts in numerous felds.

    Open World

    Congressionally unded, the Open World brings decisionmakers rom Russia, Ukraine, and selected Eurasian countriesto meet with their American counterparts in legislative,education, NGO, health, accountable governance, and otherareas. Participants live with American amilies and go through a10-day intensive proessional program to learn frsthand abouttheir proessional areas in the U.S. and democracy in action

    Taiwan Leadership Program

    The International Institute hosts senior ofcials romTaiwan or an intensive two-week program on Leadershipin a Democratic Society. The delegates spend time withcongressional leaders, think tanks, NGOs, and several U.S.government agencies, with the goal o sharing best practices.

    Egypt: Forward

    As a subcontractor to IESC, Graduate School USA wasawarded a contract by the U.S. Trade and Development

    Agency (USTDA) to organize two site visits as part o Egypt:Forward, the frst major United States-Egypt event since thetransormative changes o January 2011. Egypt: Forwardbrings together nearly 50 leading Egyptian policy makers and

    private sector executives or a two-day orum in Washington,

    DC. The orum provides an unprecedented opportunity toencourage increased trade and commercial ties between theUnited States and Egypt. Following the orum, Egyptiandelegates divide into groups to conduct our simultaneoussite visits ocused on the energy, ICT, transportation, andagribusiness sectors. Graduate School USA will organize theenergy and transportation site visits to Houston and New

    York City, respectively.

    Chinese Study Tours

    The International Institute partners with U.S. and Chineseinstitutions to organize proessional programs or participantslocated throughout China to share best practices with theirU.S. counterparts in numerous felds.

    China Teacher Program

    The International Institute and F & S International havepartnered to oer teaching opportunities in China. Recentcollege graduates can choose to spend either fve or ten monthsteaching elementary, middle, or high school.

    Since 2000, the Institute has worked closely with USAID todevelop and deliver training programs worldwide or USAIDpersonnel. Using the Schools extensive curriculum, trainingprograms have been customized and delivered or more than2,000 USAID employees. Examples o customized courses includeFinancial and Audit Management, Audit Reporting, and Detection ofFraud.

    United States Department of Defense

    Utilizing the extensive curriculum oerings o Graduate SchoolUSA, the International Institute develops and delivers trainingprograms to U.S. Department o Deense institutions across theglobe, including in Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Guam, andthe United Kingdom.

    Millennium Challenge Corporation

    As part o the Booz Allen Hamilton team, the InternationalInstitute provides capacity building needs assessments, trainingand development, and related short-term support services to theMCC, Governments o Foreign Countries, Accountable Entities,and other related entities in response to task assignments issuedpursuant to an Indefnite Delivery/Indefnite Quantity Contract.

    The United States Trade and

    Development Agency

    Graduate School USA partnered with the International ExecutiveService Corps (IESC) as a subcontractor on an IndefniteQuantity Contract (IQC) issued by the United States Trade andDevelopment Agency (USTDA). Under the IQC, GraduateSchool USA and IESC will be eligible to bid on Request orProposals to conduct reverse trade missions, conerences and

    workshops, training, and outreach activities, and provide supporttechnical assistance and documentation or developing andmiddle-income countries. The contract covers a fve-year period.

    Organization of American States

    The International Institute provides ongoing services in supporto the Organization o American States mission o democracyor peace, security, and development. These services includeneeds assessments, training programs, consulting services, andproessional presentations.

    Health

    Graduate School USA now oers health degrees and certifcate programs. These programs can be

    customized and delivered to individuals or groups. The goal o the program is to provide high-quality

    healthcare training to participants so they may apply these skills to improve the health o individuals in

    their communities. Programs include: Medical Laboratory Technician Associate o Applied Science Degree

    and Phlebotomy Technician Certifcate.

    Governance

    In partnership with governments and institutions, Graduate School USA works to build institutional

    capacity so governments are responsive, transparent, and accountable to their citizens.

    Island Training Program

    This U.S. Department o Interior-unded project providesresults-oriented proessional and organizational development

    services that enable U.S.-afliated insular governmentsto strengthen fnancial and program perormance andaccountability, achieve fscal stability, and promote economicgrowth. To learn more about the Island Training Program,please visit www.pitiviti.org.

    Jamaica

    The International Institute and the Management Instituteor National Development (MIND) ormed a partnershipto deliver a management analysis training program tothe Government o Jamaica. Twenty-seven participants,representing the Cabinet ofce, attended a six-month

    program. The International Institute and MIND workedtogether on assessing participants training needs, customizingand developing curriculum, delivering courses, and conductingmid-term and fnal term assignments. All courses took placeat the MIND training acilities in Kingston, Jamaica. Uponcompletion o the program, each participant received a jointcertifcate o accomplishment in management analysis romthe International Institute and MIND.

    The International Institute has developed partnershipswith institutions worldwide to develop educational products

    and services or central, regional, and local governments.The International Institute works with local institutions inconducting needs assessments; developing curriculum, anddelivering training programs; educational exchanges; anddistance learning programs; and assessing programs.
