Interlake High School HIGH QUALITY INSTRUCTION

To support student growth and achievement, our school community will

meet the academic and non-academic needs in the following ways: • Implementation of math discourse strategies

• Use of assessment data to provide direction for additional interventions

• Support for staff to develop, practice and modify, as warranted, differentiation strategies to allow for 1:1 or small

group instruction and/or interventions within the classroom.

AND

• Interlake has adopted the Critical Friends Group (CFG) model of Professional Learning Communities (PLC). In its second year of implementation, CFGs meet monthly to examine problems of practice in instruction and issues of equity and inclusion.• Groups have chosen one of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Approaches to Teaching as a focus:

Differentiation, Student Collaboration, or Assessment• Equity and Inclusion focus for 2018-19 school year is Implicit Bias
