Preschool aims to develop the potential of children early in preparation for life and can adjust to the environment.

Vibrant colors attract the attention of young children, which is why toys for children under six are brightly colored. However, too much color can overstimulate a child. Balancing color in kindergarten classrooms is an important consideration when creating a balanced space for young students. Written By : Linda M. Rhinehart
Welcoming Colors A classroom that is bright (as in, well lit), organized and welcoming goes a long way in helping the kindergartener to feel at home. What colors give that, "Welcome, come on in," feeling? bright orange, yellow and green are the most welcoming colors. Walls in a kindergarten classroom painted in these shades create a warm and happy space. Calming Colors The use of vibrant blues and greens in classrooms for young students gives an air of peace and calmness to the space. Psychology of Color, http://www.precisionintermedia.com/color.html Research with Children In an article written by Julie Barrett for the Board of Education in California, Barrett lists various findings from research done on how colors influence our lives. Some of findings from the article include
• "Color may be used to give "cues" to the brain, about where to find information or an object in the classroom."
• Color overlay: 80% of dyslexic children had increased reading comprehension when a blue or gray overlay was placed on the page.
• The use of black and white as a color scheme may lower IQ or make children more "dull".
• According to Rose H. Alschuler and La Berta Weiss Hattwick, authors of Painting and Personality (1947), "Small children have a natural preference for 'luminous' colors such as red, orange, yellow and pink."
• Both red and orange are useful for alerting children to specific points of knowledge or new concepts.
• Colors help children to express themselves."
Clearly, color in the Kindergarten classroom and its use can determine how students feel as well as how they behave.

COLOUR color in the classroom and its use can determine how the feelings of the students and how they behave. UNIVERSAL EFFECTS OF COLOR • Red: dynamic, vibrant, stimulating,
active, strong, warm, aggressive. If too much, it can cause color of anger, stress, impatience, intimidation, revenge and noisy atmosphere. Instead, should not be used for baby's room.
• Yellow: color the elusive eyes, cheerful, warm and energized. This color not suitable for use in a child's bedroom, especially for yellow is too bright, because it can cause glare and hard to break.
• Blue: the color is most comfortable for the eyes, soothing, safe, accepting, patient. Too much blue can cause the cold and make a passive child. If you want to use blue, choose a color that not too pale so not make cold impression.
• Green: relaxed, quiet, natural, soothing and seem shy. Too much green, will make children lazy, so as to neutralize can be combined with red or orange.
• Orange: confident, friendly, full of joy. Orange in color can make a child room is always awake, so it must be combined with other colors. If it's too much orange can make a room feel dark, so it takes a lot of incoming light.

LIGHTING In kindergartens and play groups, the emphasis is on activities related to education and play. Running around, forming groups and holding small objects is an activity for which the room lighting is important. When the room not bright enough, the risk of accidents will increase and children's motivation will decrease.
SHAPE Forms of human perception tends to dominate because the shape can be better understand the sense of space. The forms that are more easily understood forms remain with the amount of the composition that is not too much. Kandinsky split it into two forms, the first regular (Geometric), geometric shapes the design have specific flavor, such as goodness, power to fun and leads to a sense of the Godhead. Second, the curved shape not irregular (biomorphic) create a sense of dynamic, unstable and sometimes odd under certain conditions, but this looks biomorphic forms of life, especially in the elasticity.
Literature Study ISLAM Islam is a monotheistic and Abrahamic religion articulated by the Qur'an, a book considered by its adherents to be the verbatim word of God[1] (Arabic: هللا Allāh) and by the teachings and normative example (called the Sunnah and composed of hadith) of Muhammad, considered by them to be the last prophet of God. An adherent of Islam is called a Muslim. RUB AL-HIZB The Rub al-hizb (Bahasa Arab: ربع is a Muslim symbol, represented الحزبas two overlapping squares, which is found on a number of emblems and flags. The main purpose of this dividing system is to facilitate recitation of the Qur'an.
AL-QUDS STAR is an adaptation of the Islamic Rub el Hizb symbol which is specifically associated with al-Quds (i.e. Jerusalem). The eight-pointed star design is inspired by the octagonal ground-plan of the Umayyad Dome of the Rock shrine (built to commemorate Jerusalem's status as the first Qibla or direction of prayer in Islam), as well as by the standard Rub el Hizb symbol.
GREEN COLOUR IN ISLAM There are many words GREEN verses in the Quran and describes the state of the inhabitants of Heaven or everything around them, in the form of pleasure, ambience, pleasure, peace of mind. Surah Al-Kahf : 31 Those will have gardens of perpetual residence; beneath them rivers will flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and will wear green garments of fine silk and brocade, reclining therein on adorned couches. Excellent is the reward, and good is the resting place.

ERGONOMICS children aged 3-5 years are usually active in playing, such as running, climbing, and jumping, and usually they will find something they can use to play, in this case the furniture around it. Therefore, it is important to consider the strength, stability, material, shape, and size. It is intended to maintain the security and safety also provide comfort for children under five.
In terms of children ergonomics, ergonomics researchers stressed that children ergonomics is different from adults. Thus, appropriate furniture design and facilities should be adapted to avoid hazard or injuries to children such as muscular disorder. The ergonomics will focused on the suitable height of furniture for children, the width, length, the materials and the design itself. Ruth (2000) set a design standard for children’s environments which comprise of all the details of anthropometric and ergonomics design for children.

LIGHTING
SchoolVision by Philip Four dedicated lighting scenes are available for the teacher to select via a touchpad. The scenes are produced by varying the balance between light intensity and colour tone/temperature to create a particular ambience that is suitable for a certain tasks or the time of day.
