Further to the email we sent on Friday, we would like to conrm that the application

for incoming students and sta under the rasmus programme to Masaryk

University is open for the forthcoming academic year "#$%&"#$'( )elow you can nd

some information regarding the application procedure as well as other information

for prospective students and sta(

Application form and instructions:

incoming&( /n that site, the prospective candidates have to choose 0rasmus

institution 04artner 5nstitution3, and nally the 0agreement through which to apply3

that in order for the application to e sumitted, all re9uired forms have to eattached, as well as the application must e formally 0closed3 to conrm that all the

5mportant note for the academic and administrative sta interested in coming to

MU: *hese types of candidates are e;pected to identify and contact a local peer 1MU

sta, either academic for a teacher, or non.academic for administrative sta2 who

will have to endorse their stay at MU( *his will e ovious in the application, as they

have to ll in the name and the email of the MU +dvisor, plus they will e re9uired to

sumit a copy of the correspondence with the relevant MU sta( 4lease advise your

Screening procedure and timeline:

$( +fter the deadline, MU will check the eligiility of all applications( ach application

will e checked as far it contains all re9uired information and documents( MU sta

should complete this part in aout a week time(

"( +fter MU checks the eligiility of all applications, a re9uest for assessment will e

send to your home universityC coordinators to evaluate the candidate1s2 y lling in

some e;tended criteria 1academic performance, previous e;perience, language skills

etc(2( 5t will help us not ust to gather more useful information aout the candidates

applying for this programme, ut it will also provide us with acknowledgement fromyour side that the respective student&sta is a suitale candidate for the

studies&teaching&training at MU( Eou will have aout a month to complete this step(

=( *he third point of assessment will e at MU who will consider the content and

merit of the applicants 1the elds of study, courses chosen y the student, curricula

of oered courses, etc(2( *his part will e done primarily at the relevant faculties and

departments, depending on applicantCs eligiility regarding the elds of study,

( Ata of the international oce at MU will then, ased on the assessments at the

home institution and prospective host faculties, make the nal selection( 5t will have

to reHect the funding and availaility for each cohort of candidates 1there are
