The BB LEDlightpipe is a modular build luminaire concept. A standarized LED unit beams the light into a polycarbonat tube.Optical foils are mounted inside the tube to transport and extract the light over the length of the tube.An absolute glare free lightdistribution is achieved.Due to this modularity a great number of different luminaires, lengths from 2,3 meters up to 12 meters and luminousoutput up to 13.000 Lumens, are available.All luminairs are standard DALI controlled, other options 1-10V or Dynadim are also available.The color temperature is 5000 Kelvin, if not specified differently. Colors from minimum 2700 K to maximal 6500 K can be ordered as well.

All luminaires can be used in a line setup or as stand alone luminaire and contain plug and play connectors.The ECO is especially designed for the retrofit market.BB LEDlightpipes in a line setup can be extended with a fully integrated Park guidance and sound or evacuation system.

2.BB LEDlightpipe EVO components and modules

The BB LEDlightpipe EVO is a modular lighting sytem, suitable for continuous light lines or stand alone luminairs.The luminairs for the light lines are equipped with a plug&play connector system for a fast and secure installation.The luminairs for stand alone are equipped with standard terminal blocks.All BB LEDlightpipes EVO can be wired through to the other end, so-called wired versions.The last BB LEDlightpipe in a line does not contain wires, so-called end versions.The lighttube comes with two different lengths, L1 and L2 and can contain either one (mono) or two (bi)LEDunits.

The lighttube is available in 2 different standard lengths and 2 versions, mono and bi.All lighttubes are IP66.

10.Connecting BB LEDlightpipe lines

The BB LEDlightpipe contains internal wires for making continuous lightlines with one infeed point. The standard setup is single phase and DALI.A three phase plus DALI internal wiring is an option. The phase selection for the individual luminaire can be done on the wago connector sinceit has two contacts per pole.

Connected situation

The EB8 and EB12 are too long for one piece and for that reason consist of two separate parts to be connected in the mounting process.The LEDdriver is suited in the first part A. Part B contains the optional powersupply for the parkguidance.There are two possible connector configurations, a 1 phase + DALI and a 3 phase + DALI setup. A connector in the middle completes the LEDcircuit.

A lot of existing installations contain stand alone fluorescent luminairs.The BB LEDlightpipe is suiteable to update these installations without the needto modify the existing cabling lay-out. A build in adjustable motion sensor even enlarges the energy saving potential.The build in emergency light has abattery inside and a LED indicator outside to show its status.

Central control unit

The integrated evacuation and broadcasting system is available for EVO 12 and EVO 8 LED lines.The certified speaker is added in between the lighttubes of part B of the luminaire. The total length increases with 250 mm.An isolator is mounted with each speaker and in case of fire or accident the isolator will shut of the affected speakers.The rest off the speaker will remain intact due to the loop configuration.

16.Integrated certified evacuation / broadcasting system
