Working Committee of the Surveying Authorities of the States of the Federal Republic of Germany

Federal Level

• The federal level is responsible for the environmental area

• Therefore the Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety has the overall control for a federal law concerning these parts of the INSPIRE directive.

• Such a federal law shall be enacted in the near future.

State Level

• The state level is responsible for all other areas concerning the INSPIRE directive.

• To enact harmonised laws in all 16 states a prototype law will be developed by a joint Bund/Laender working group.

• This prototype has to be transfered to state law.
