    First, connect your mobile device to the Infotainmentsystem. Lets get your mobile device and carcommunicating.

    TO CONNECT YOUR MOBILE DEVICE:

    On your mobile device, turn BluetoothON(ensure it is set to visable)

    PRESS: and thenselect the SETTINGS icon

    SELECT: Bluetooth to display therespective sub menu

    SELECT:Device Managementtodisplay the device list

    SELECT: Bluetoothdevice youwish to connect

    Operate many of the functions on your mobile device viathe Infotainment system including: making and receivingcalls, accessing messages, and accessing your contacts.You can also manage your Bluetooth connection throughthe Instrument Cluster. Please refer to the user manual.

    Note: Not every mobile device supports all functions of thePhone portal. Deviations from the range of functions describedwith these specific telephones are possible - compatibility listavailable at www.vauxhall.co.uk/manuals.html.

    TO ADD AND SET HOME DESTINATIONTO THE ADDRESS BOOK:

    TAP:DESTButton and you will see options fordestination entry

    SELECT: Enter Postcode or Addressto enter

    your home address in the area provided

    SELECT: Storeand choose Private or Businessfor Category

    SELECT:OKon the Storemenu and the addresswill be saved to your address book

    ONCE ADDRESS IS STORED:

    TAP:DESTto see options fordestination entry

    SELECT: Address Bookand choose yourhome address

    SELECT: EDITand Set as Home

    The displayed address is set as home addressand displayed as first option in the EnterDestination Menu.Note: Multiple controls - this is the Touchpad controller,standard with the Nav models and optional with the RF700IntelliLink system.

    NAVI SETTING A DESTINATION:

    NavigationPERSONALISATION:Various Vehicle, Comfort and Infotainment systemsettings can be separately memorised for each driver,of the car, based on their individual key. By removingthe vehicles key from the ignition, the followingsettings are automatically saved to the individual key:

    COOLING AND DEMIST:

    The automatic climate control lets you set a temperature,and the system handles the adjustments for you. Simpledemist controls make clearing foggy windows a snap,keeping the climate the way you want it and your view clear.

    PRESS:A/Cto switch on cooling. Activation is indicatedby the LED in the button.

    A/Cwill only be operational when the engine is runningand the fan is on. Air is cooled and dehumidified. Ifcooling or dehumidification is not desired, switch off inorder to save fuel.

    Air Conditioning

    PRESS: fan automatically switches to higherspeed, the air distribution is directed towards thewindscreen.

    SWITCH:ONcooling A/C.

    SET:temperature controller TEMP to warmest level.

    SWITCH: on heated rear window.

    DEMISTING AND DEFROSTING WINDOWS:

    Electric Park Brake & DPF

    The Electric Parking brake is switch operated which allowsmore seating space for driver and passenger alike.

    TO APPLY WHEN VEHICLE IS STATIONARY:

    Pull switch for approx. one second, the ElectricalParking Brake operates automatically with anadequate force.

    For maximum force, e.g. parking with trailer or oninclines, pull switch twice.

    The Electrical Parking Brake is applied when the

    control indicator lights up.

    The Electrical Parking Brake can always be activated,

    even if the ignition is off. The Electric Parking Brake willautomatically disengage when you drive off.

    ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE:

    DIESEL ENGINES ONLY:The Diesel Particle Filter system filters harmful sootparticles out of the exhaust gases. The system includesa self-cleaning function that runs automatically duringdriving. The filter is cleaned by periodically burning off thesoot particles at high temperature. This process takes placeautomatically under set driving conditions and may take up to25 minutes. If the DPF indicator illuminates or flashes yellow,then cleaning is required. Continue driving (above 2000 rpmif possible) until the indicator light extinguishes. Autostop isnot available and fuel consumption may be higher during thisperiod. It is normal for the emission to smell and/or smokeduring this process.

    Caution: If the cleaning process is interrupted, there is arisk of provoking severe engine damage.
